As the topic says "JUST QUITTING IS NOT ENOUGH" We have to take the necessary steps to not fall back into this pit. Sometimes we feel like quitting the moment we masturbate, but after some period of time we relapse again. This is because of the factors that led you again and again to relapse. For myself the main reason to relapse is
    • Watching movies which contains a lot of Nudity.
    • Checking some porn sites when boredom
    • Discussing about porn with friends
So now I've taken the necessary measurements for all the above. I've deleted all the movies which contain nudity from my Drive. Deleted all the histories on my browser just not to get reminded, and stopped talking to friends about porn. I am so happy that I made all this effort despite my failures. I don't know whether I'd leave this permanently or not, but atleast I owe myself to try!!!

I agree with both of you in some ways. I do think on your first streak you need to be extremely careful. It's good to delete instagram when not posting, avoid media and art that includes a lot of sex and so furth. But in the long run you will see accidental sex scenes on tv and meet friends that show and talk to you about something you don't want to. After 90 days your brain is is definitely still weak to temptations, although not nearly as in the first weeks. Blockers won't get you anywhere though, learning to say no to triggers is the way to go (self control). You can never be too safe in the first weeks.

Our addiction isn't the real problem. It's the symptom to what's really going on underneath. Past trauma ? Anxiety ? Depression ?
For me , I realized I've had anxiety my entire life from being in an alcoholic home , and also never felt good enough, loved, supported , safe in my family home . At the age of 10 i found porn and that seemed to make me feel so much better. So I'll stick with what worked .
Keep peeling the onion layers. I promise there is more to it!
