    I’m glad that works for you! However it doesn’t work for me. When I work out I work out pretty hard, I’m not even sore until 15-24 hours later. And it usually lasts at least two-three days until they are recovered. So that’s why I mainly have always done one major muscle group a week, and heard and read a lot that you shouldn’t train your muscles more than twice a week. It seems to me if you smash your muscles the first time, it will take you a few days to recover and then it’s time for the rest day anyways.

    However I realize everyone’s different and other ways work for different people. So do whatever works for you and what you enjoy!

    If I was honest if I had more time available I would probably be in the gym almost everyday. Then maybe I would do things different.

    rule one of building muscle/strength-there isn't one correct way-find what works for you and stick to it until it stops working.See how your body responds to different weight training programmes then go from there and adopt the one which gives you the most return.Simple :) ps-just make sure you are doing compound movements and eating/sleeping enough!
