So what if someone is trying nofap but his urges are stronger than himself?

What if the individual can no longer control himself from watching P?

Let's say the longest he could abstain is 3-4 hours after waking up.

Then he looks for P content like a crack addict.

    What if it's so serious?

    What can he do?

I've been there, I used to wake up, work/school, binge on pmo everyday for years. Now at a point where I only have a couple slips a year. It is a road to recovery and it can/will get better. The strategy to recovery remains constant though. Us addicts need to stay away from the edges of the cliffs which is really the hardest part. DM me if I can help.

Outlining strategies to abstaining would be better.

Get your internet disconnected, dump your phone, whatever you have to do. Only use internet at the library etc. Once you start having small victories, then things will get easier. You need to 'taste' what it can feel like to be stronger than your urges. Then you'll see what it's all about.

I already had tastes of victory... Did nofap for more than 90 days actually.

When i'm busy working behind my computer i just can't resist looking for pics of girls after 2-3 hours of focusing.

Just the fact that i'm behind my computer makes it so easy for me to look for things like pics or P. Going to a library is not an option and cancelling my internet connection either.

Good question. You've described how my life looked like just 3 years ago. I started binge fapping session 2-3 hours after waking up (couldn't do it right away after waking up because I was too sick to do it literally - god knows I've tried to do it countless times) if I didn't have to go to work in the morning. If I did I begun with hours lasting binge PMO sessions right after work. I had been doing it for almost 2 decades.

If I'd have to start recovery again, I'd take a month off, throw smart phone away, pack my things and go for a month long hike/pilgrimage. Camino de Santiago or something similar. It would be the the best thing to do to get me through the first month of abstinence. Walking 8-10 hours a day would give plenty of endorphins (dopamine) and serotonine to counteract most withdrawal symptoms. Plus lots of physical pain in the body would distract me from thinking about PMO.

When I'd come home, I'd focus on developing new habits. I'd start with 1) sleeping 7-9h a day (sleeping between 11pm-2am is crucial), 2) diet (no processed food, cooking by myself when possible, no added sugar, lots of fresh water, fruits and vegetables daily plus supplements - Omega3, B complex, D3, Ca, Mg, K, Zn) and 3) daily exercise on fresh air for the next 2-3 months. When these healthy habits become a part of everyday life, I'd start working on underlying psych issues that caused me to fall into PMO rabbit hole. Maybe seek professional help like CBT therapy (it's based on stoic philosophy) or psychoanalysis if you still don't know what your underlying problem is. That would be my start if I'd start form scratch today. I didn't have the knowledge about addiction when I started my recovery path so it was very, very painful and bumpy ride for me. But I do believe it doesn't have to be so hard if one would go through described steps instead of just trying to abstain, counting days and wandering what to do next.
