    Good Evening Friends,

I have been anonymously browsing the forums for about two weeks now reading inspiring stories of people just like me realizing that something is wrong. The fact that this is indeed a community means that we have singled out the common denominator in our life; pornography. Recently I have felt that I am on the horizon of a new life, a life fulfilled not by seclusion and the cheapest demonstration of the beautiful gift of sex. What this new life will be like I know not because I did not know that it existed for 14 years. This is when I began the practice of pornography and thus suppressed by its deadly grip.

I am excited to have found a community that also sees a better way of life. I had to introduce myself because I want to share this journey onto a new life with people just like me. I am at the earliest stages of healing (rebooting) and thus still in elementary education about taking control of PMO. With the welcomed help of the members of this community, I hope to rid myself of PMO; as I progress in my personal journey I want to give back the knowledge to those in the beginning stages just like I am at present. If you are willing, please extend any advice to me that will help me in defeating PMO.

I am 26 years of age and my name is Luke. I am on Day 4 of the rebooting process. Together we can conquer this and finally know what we are capable of.

I'm on Day 3 myself man, let's go for it and take controll of our lives. Your still young, take it from me, you don't want to fap your life and look about when your 40. (Which I will be next year) so much wasted time and energy affecting my life as a whole. I recommend you start a journal if you haven't already... Keeping a log may help you in the process

I have a personal diary app on my phone. I constantly write in it when I'm thinking about stuff. I have more than just the PMO right now, but it helps to keep things straight. And go back and browse your writing too. Your brain can really play tricks on you.

I am on day 4 of my second try at this. The first time I wasn't ready. I am this time. I might have to lose a few things along the way, but I'm tired of hiding things and lying about stuff to those I loved the most. It just wears you down and isn't wurth the effort. It's much more fulfilling to have good relationships than a fantasyland to hide in. Keep up the fight, and don't be afraid of falling, pick yourself right back up, and know you are not alone in this.

Hey, thank you guys for the tips. I will definitely start a journal. I have one on my computer but need to write in it more often. I am going to try the 90 day reboot mode. It sure is nice to have a support group on here. Thanks again,
    Luke
