Any Buddhism book recommendations??

    Was wondering if anyone on here who is practicing or researching Buddhism and/ or meditation have any book recommendations?

    My Journal
    Not directly about buddhism, but written by buddhist thinkers:
    my favourite is Dalai Llama's - The power of compassion
    many from Thich Nhat Hanh
    and many from Matthieu Ricard (he's believed to be the happiest man alive)

    I can recommend a couple of things on youtube specifically about Buddhism:
    Wes Cecil - The Ancients: Siddhartha Gautama
    The Zen Life of Master Dogen
    The Buddha (narrated by Richard Gere)
