Hi guys, I'm new here, do you guys have any suggestion on "browser limiting" apps? I know that my ISP is blocking porn right here, but few of them are still unblocked, any suggestions? Pc and mobile device.
I use SPIN browser for mobile, works like a charm. You can also instal 'manage SPIN' so that you can't use other browsers. It's the best out there, always works and blocks everything that's bad. For PC I use k9 web protection. Make sure you set up a difficult password you can't remember and give it to someone you trust. I find that it relieves a lot of tension for me that I'm just not able to watch P. It's like an alcoholic that gets rid of all the alcohol in his house.
my problem with these blockers is that i'm a computer science student, so...i always know how to cheat this things... So, i focus on mind control, which is very important, dont you forget to do the same while control your permissions in internet, otherwise you will fall in the first opportunity.
openDNS is great. Set it up. then give the password to a trusted person. Or you can use futureme (google it) to send the password to yourself in the future. a month, a year, up to you. Covenent eyes is OK, but not a perfect blocker and is a pain to use. and is expensive.
