Hey! I have just acheived 122 days after been trying abstention, cold turkey.

I have advice for the people who wants to quit but have a really hard time.

Before my records were between 10-46 days.

What helped me the most was this book which is available as a pdf or ebook on torrent sites: The Power Of Habit.

But what helped me even further at the start, was signing up for the newsletter at http://rebootblueprint.com/getting-started/ (bottom of the page). The newsletter isn't a newsletter, it's daily feedback assuming you start on day 1, guiding you through 1-2 weeks how to at least get through that first week critical of time.

At that site one can buy (which I finally did after thinking: I don't want to buy anything to come over the addiction, however I guess it was worth 39$ with this success).

This guide takes one through 30 days, in a pdf file. In this guide is where I found The Power Of Habit which explained to me why I get sucked into habits and that mystery of how they can be replaced.

On other book in the guide is The Willpower Instinct, I never rely on willpower because I want to function through instinct, however it can sure be of help to others as well.

    Some benfifits:

Confidence, true confidence I just realized I felt yesterday.

I do so much more today than ever before.

This is what I replaced my habit with:

Any time I have the pre-movement that I so recognize before being dragged into the black hole, I either bicycle, EAT (so many times I have realized that I'm actually hungry, low because of it but don't feel it since computers make me feel nothing), anti-stress exercise (ground your feet, so that excess energy can travel down into the ground instead of being locked in the body) or go to the bathroom. (Lol, often I have realized I need to empty my bladder (which when a bit full pushes on the prostate), or empty the intestines (same thing), basically taking care of myself through these four things have changed the habit.

To be specific, I don't m, touch at all. This helps too, at least until I feel free enough (if I ever feel like I want to do it again lol).

Also the therapy form Somatic Experiencing healed lots of trauma I didn't even know was there. Anyone struggling or want to overcome trauma finds it here: http://www.traumahealing.org/

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Besides of confidence what else??? Are there any physical benefits whether sexual or mental or fitness or anything?
Did you feel a flatline period? Did you have sex during this period???

Hey! I'm gonna write the major cool thing that has happened first.

After some months I find that my perspective is returning, actual depth vision. Like if I look at the clouds, which felt much more like a coulisse (backdrop) when I looked at it months ago, I think my dopamine receptors have became less desensitized so that I am actually able to take in perception more. Now perception is returning more, and the more I don't sit at the computer, and abstain the more I can take in the actual depth, or the distance to the clouds, moon, and it's, the clouds are HUMONGOUS. Thumbs up. One of the benefits which is the wierdest, lol. So it makes me appreciate small things more, also just the distance to people in actual depth and cars also returns more. I guess here and now returns more when I don't sit at the computer and abstain. The world isn't a coulisse, it has depth, lol.

    On to other benefits.

Mentally I'm much more happy than before. I have more energy, and this I put into different projects.
Sometimes now I just get happy-bursts! I just feel so up! And I need to jump around, laugh, joy.

I'm not sure I have had a flatline period, perhaps, and in the guide I get the advice to wait with sex at least 3 months after I get my erection to avoid swinging back or getting cravings. Oh! I feel girls so much more, their moods, our resonance (energy between us like excitment, attraction and such). Yesterday I was at a bar with some people. A beautiful girl with some friends sat behind us, a sensation grew in me to say hi, it overwhelmed so I had to do it, I went up, said hi, asked some questions, that was that. It was exciting and I got a question asked back and the energy in her eyes were super, either I just saw my eyes in her (which was mesmerized). I sensed anyway that she thought it was ok for me to approach, I haven't acted on that feeling before, I didn't feel it. Now I do.

I feel much more sensual feelings, sometimes I even open my mouth like WOW! Look at that! It happens when women are beautiful.

Women are more interested in me. Even though a friend (she) at the bar yesterday brought over some friends (also woman), one of the girls used it as an excuse to approach me. We exchanged some eye contact, and I guess she tested me through asking some questions.

I don't worry too much about erections, I haven't got mine back fully I think yet, however I think in time it will. I don't have pied, however still sure some ed.

Or wait. When I wake there is often one. I also use lucid dreaming, but after I found that I had cravings. However now that I have changed habit I find I have greater control. Will keep going like that.

Buzzlightyear: Lucid dreaming is awesome. Funny thing is, after I started abstaining from the computer and yes. one morning I just found myself in a dream and realizing, what? I'm dreaming. Coool. At the time I flew a lot of RC-planes, was so jealous of birds, and I also just wanted to be able to fly! After having that experience of the realization and kind of knowing before-hand it meant I had a lucid dream, I instead of searching for lucid dreaming I actually went to the library and read about it. I wanted dreams to last longer, then I realized, hey! In a lucid dream I fly! So I tried it along with techniques (spinning, prolonging dream) and it was this really cool vibrating humming sound, the scenery was autumn and a filter of purple, I instantly flew. I flew in an autumn park. I woke up 15 minutes into the dream, "I just flew", hurray! I flew! I have also talked to my sub-conscious, career choices, university-advice. When I was a beginner I just try the WBTB (Wake back to bed) technique. Basically waking 3/4 into the morning, going up, having a glass of water, or going to the toilet, going back to bed, telling myself, tonight I'll have a lucid dream, out of ten times three times at least it have worked. That's my recommendation, lend litterature. ;)

The 1000 water fist: Read "The Power Of Habit", you will. ;)

Of course, I'm more resistant to urges these days. Hurray.

    Awesome, what support. Thanks.
