Is there a way to stop porn from entering every part of internet?

Hey guys. It feels like porn is just everywhere on the internet! It seems like it is even in a lot of places where it is not supposed to be.
For example, Discord. An app that was made for gamers, but, there are so many NSFW servers now.
Another example is Tumblr. I've read an article that PornHub is planning on buying the Tumblr from Verizon so that they can restore Tumblr's "former glory".

How do you feel about those? Do you think that there's a way that this things can stop?

  2. No but you can decide what you want to see and where you want to be and how much you want to be on the internet.

Good question! I think on one hand it's the industry's fault that let this happen(cause like you said Discord and Tumblr are not nsfw oriented) on the other hand is our fault aswell ! Cause we as a society create this demand for nsfw content !

  4. Take Responsbility for your actions. I deleted it all. Instagram, tumblr, Kik all other porn or erotic related stuff...

I think we can start by making a mandatory system of age checks. For instance, requiring that all porn sites check your credit card or require a drivers license to be faxed in. Next, I think we should start banning porn starting with the worst of it. For instance, we can ban sissy hypno. Finally, I think a full porn ban would be in the best interest of everyone.

Restricting the access to porn is a good step in the right direction but banning porn would not be really effective! If you cut off people source of addiction they would react aggressively! There would be a wave of violence!

A better way to deal with the problem is with education and knowledge. Like nofap is doing. With self realization and knowledge gathering you come to the conclusion that porn is bad for your health. No ban is needed cause people would turn their back by their own.

Of course really extreme content should be banned without any discussion!

    Just my thoughts :)

I don't think there would be violence. Frustration? Maybe. The biggest drawback would be that it would go underground but, in my opinion, that's where this industry belongs. Deep underground where nobody but the most determined can get it and with serious consequences for making and possessing it.

I think nofap is just the first step. Once people become aware of the damage caused by PMO, I think they'll naturally want to ban it.

Is there a way to make people stop selling drugs?
Is there a way to stop human traffic?
Is there a way to stop maniacs from buying firearms?
The answer is yes, but it is easier and less apocaliptic to just be good yourself.

The thing is sex sells and its one of the most powerful industries out there.
We has humans want sex, people sell sex and with the internet there is an endless supply of that content.
I hope im wrong but this cycle will be our downfall eventually.

    Best wishes,

  13. Happening in the UK soon, although many say kids will just find a way round it. I'm quite a liberal (UK not US meaning), but it's bizarre that we accept the reality of children seeing hardcore pornography.

I have a suggestion. It is to stay offline or minimise your time online.
