    Hi Guys,

I'm absolutely new to this community and think, that I need some advice!
Since I was a young girl I'm addicted to porn and now I stuck in a really bad situation of life..I've always knew that porn affected me badly, but I could never realize or even imagine how big the problem in fact is, how porn ruined completely my life and youth. I deal with a lot of problems, without knowing that all of those problems such as

    - social anxiety
    - horrible sleep pattern
    - depression
    - no control of anger
    - mood swings
    - no appetite
    - weight fluctuations
    - not being able to pay attention to anyone or anything
    - affecting my schoolgrades
    - losing friends
    - huge lack of confidence
    - awful remembrance, forgetting everything

Were connected with the addiction of pornography!
I'm now for about 10 years fighting this addiction and the longest time I was clean was more than 30days. I would love to live one day happily in no need of P!

    Great to have you here:)

I recongnise some things and what has helped for me is to start with something small. Just pick one small thing you see as an improvement and try to do it. For example, if you struggle with you appetite, try to eat a decent breakfast once a week (even though you don't feel like it), or what you think you can manage. And if you start like this you can slowly but steadily reclaim the territory in your life that you have lost control of. And those small victories will start to add up and give you more and more confidence.
What also definitely helps is to share you thoughts with other people. And this forum is awesome for that:) start writing a journal for example.

My advice would be to write in your nofap journal (or at least read it) every day to keep your motivation to quit strong. It sounds like you have many good reasons. If you can keep them fresh in your mind, it will be easier to overcome urges.

Using the counter to keep track of how many days I have been clean has been helpful for me.

I found the best way for me to give up porn was to stop fantasizing about sex altogether. If you stop looking at porn, but don't stop thinking about it, temptations will keep coming up.

Don't worry - it gets easier with time!

    Wishing you the best!
