Hi I'm newbie!

  1. Hi everyone! I'm very glad to be in NoFap community. I hope everyone can help me since I'm still new here.

I'm a 18-year-old female who's struggling to stop watching porn for a long time. I'd been watching it since I was about... 10 years old? I'm pretty sure that's such a young age. It all started when I saw a porn website on my brother's laptop, so I was so curious that I clicked on it. At first, it's just disgusting to see but then, I got excited and wanted to see more. I didn't watch it often, but like when I wanted to see it.

Until now, I still watch it but it feels different. Maybe because I used to it already. Recently, I'm into hentai and I read a lot of hentai mangas. That's so miserable! For times, I know it's wrong to watch porn but the dark side of myself couldn't stop whispering to me to continue this bad thing. I'm afraid if I can't have a better life when I get married in the future.

Since I'd watched porn since kid, the effects are I can't study well that's for sure, I imagine people around me, I talk too freely with friends and did some racy jokes. I feel bad!

Now that I feel like my life is getting worse, I want to stop this. I'm still a student and waiting for university offers so I want to do well in studies to repay my parents' effort. In my religion, watching porn is a sin but I still do that. I want to be blessed in my life. I want to be loved by everyone especially my family.

I want to stop right away but I know it's hard. I'll try. I hope those who read this can help me out. Thanks!

By the way, sorry for my bad English :)

  3. Welcome to NoFap!

I see you have good academic plans for the future and that will definitely help you to stay focused on your reboot. As you know in order to be able to concentrate the addiction has to go. This journey will not be easy but it sure is possible. Step by step, little by little you will make progress and renew your thinking. Never lose hope :)

I wish you the best in your abstinence! Porn surely is a nasty thing, and I hope you can see the improvements you want coming from quitting.

    Best of Luck, and welcome!

Good luck for your journey. Deeply observe your thinking as well as your actions. Work on the root causes and you'll get whatever you want.
    And your English isn't bad
