In no order -Trigun -Evangelion -Samurai Champloo - naruto and shippuden (everything before the war arc because that was terrible) -All of Dragon ball (just watched the new Broly and it was awesome) - YuYu - Death note - hxh 2011 -Brotherhood I always feel like I’m missing some when I write an anime list but I think I got all of my main ones.
You definitely should. The last episode encompasses the whole meaning of the show really well. Easily a rewatchable series from start to finish.
Haven't watched that many TV Shows, I mostly watch films. TV Shows: 1. Monster. 2. Death Note. 3. Serial Experiments Lane. 4. Shirokuma Cafe haha Films: 1. Graveyard of the fireflies. 2. Spirited Away. 3. Princess Mononoke. 4. Akira. I could list tons of films, though.
Oh my god Monster. Hasn’t anyone seen monster ? Such an underrated anime all because of it’s artstyle but that aside it’s a great psychological anime. I think only Eva beats in terms of characterization.
Yeah, I'd say it is not that popular because it is not the usual anime, it is just like a real life show only that this one is drawn. I'd recommend it for any adult who likes a good plot, even if they don't like anime.
I finished monster in 4 days I think it was pretty engaging But it's ending was not up to the mark Which makes the series dull to me..... I mean how can Johan do all those things.... After a point it become stupid to me....
It could definitely work as a live action series. With good actors and intense music. Something like a Christopher Nolan series.
I can understand your opinion. I’m not surprised you finished it in four days because the series is so engaging and makes you craving more. When you get to the end it doesn’t exactly feel like a good payoff unless you sit and think about it. I heard a rumor that it was to become an HBO series by tarintino a few years ago but was cancelled. This is just a rumor but god if only it actually happened. Something serious, dark, and thought provoking. I can definitely see it being adaptable.
WARNING: MASSIVE SPOILER OF MONSTER. Dude, the show finishes with Tenma putting back the bullet he took out, with the kid pointing to his forehead the same way he did to his sister. Because he's broken and he actually hates it, just like all the other kids that went through those mental experiments on the GDR during the cold war to build the perfect soldiers. It's perfect. No wonder you got bored, you watched it in 4 days, you basically overdose yourself hahaha And the show is perfectly plotted, I don't get how you think it gets stupid, maybe you should read the manga to understand better. That was not an insult, don't feel attacked. The mangaka is totally one of the best, and "20th century boys" is another of his masterpieces.
ALSO MAJOR SPOILER I especially love the last scene and how it is left to our interpretation of what happened to Johan. I especially love and sometimes rewatch the “mind” scene where Johan allows Tenma to see what happened to him in the past where his mom gave up one of the children. The moment he saw her pondering ghe decision was pivotal to Johan’s character.
I mean that I expected it's ending to be more suspenseful It's indeed an interesting anime It keeps you engaged But animes like "when they cry" have more chilling endings Which makes them better than monster
My best anime is Attack On Titan I also read the manga because I was soo excited in the 3rd season part 1 _The promised neverland is very good and exciting too _Death note _Detective Conan but I did not watch all the episodes _Zankyou no terror , I was very impressed in the end of it ,and that it is short _Noragami , it is funny and interesting _Hyouka , this anime is really exciting but little confusing I think _Relife , school anime but the story is exceptional I like it As anime films I Like all Studio Ghibli films , Your name (Kimi no na wa)I like this film a lot These what I remember now What about you ?
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Fist of the North Star. Dragon Ball (Mainly Z). Trigun. Monster. Mob Psycho 100. One Punch Man.
