I heard about this website from a podcast. I am straight edge and have virtually no other vices outside of porn. I always felt like it was something needed as a reward to get me through the day as well as a release from the stress and tensions demanded from my daily life. I am in my mid 30's and after a lot of reflection I have realized that my true potential has not been realized in life and over the last 6 years, my life has entered into an ever more frustrating place of stagnation. I feel like I have painted myself into a corner both professionally and personally and while I don't think porn addiction is the root cause of this - it is a contributing factor. My goals I hope to achieve from joining this community are to have control over this "need" every day and not succumb to it's weakness. If I can make this a reality - I feel confident that I can not only break free from the shackles of my dead end occupation by having more vitality to work on my business in the evening but also have the motivation to start looking for a significant other to build a lasting relationship with and fill this void in my meaningless life.
