its been rough this past week not looking at any P. I often have ideas in my head about the stuff I was viewing for a long time ( 17 years off and on, but mostly on ). I feel fine but I feel different in the head, it feels like there is a void in my head. I don’t even have the urge to masturbate without P. I hope I can successfully reboot. Also my stuff downstairs feel more full. I guess due to not orgasming as I would every other day. I wonder if these porn thoughts would go away. I feel motivated.

You absolutely CAN do this. The question is will you? Will you search for the tools and resources that can help you? Will you find and attend weekly SA meetings? Will you reach out to ask for help from a sponsor at one of those meetings? Will you seek out a CSAT and keep up with appointments?

Or will you not look for help and just hope you can do it on your own?

Hope I can do it on my own. I’ve been having urges to relapse but I’m still fighting it and going strong.

What I'm saying is that if you try to do it on your own without using any forms of help (sponsor, CSAT, accountability partner, firewall software, etc) in my opinion, you'll NEVER do as well as you would with those tools.

Firewall software sounds like it can work. I'll look into these tools. Thanks for your input. Today I had a strong urge to view P. But I did my best to fight it and visit NoFap, now I'm writing this. It's been almost two weeks and as each day passes I realize more and more that this addiction is real and I was oblivious to it for years.

That's the way it works. And fighting this battle WILL get easier, but it will almost surely get MUCH MUCH worse before it starts to get noticeably better. But keep at it and things will improve, and you'll see it!
