Wet Dreams = Relapse

Wet dreams have something to do with fantasizing.. Last night I was looking at a picture of some girl.. Fast forward, I had wet dream around 2-3am..

 

I don't think that it's about not looking at girls (at all), but not looking at girls sexually when there is 0 reason to do so. Maybe not looking at girls at all is helpful in the initial stages of nofap and withdrawal but in the long run i consider the point is to be able to look at girls and your mind doesn't go porn mode.

I can definitely understand the "porn mode" because when I was neck deep in my sex/porn/masturbation/fantasizing addiction virtually everything a woman did made my mind go in sex mode. A woman looks at me in the subway > kickstart sex fantasy. I see a semi naked woman in an ad > kickstart sex fantasy. Basically everything, even a woman that was modestly dressed (no cleavage) would throw my mind in sex fantasy mode. Just walking on the street and my eyes would almost involuntarily zoom in on tits/asses. It was so bad I couldn't even stay around a work colleague of mine who was well endowed in the chest area, even if she wore modest clothes. I just noticed the shape and mind went on it's own tangent.

Once I managed to mostly extinguish that habit (alongside not masturbating), i simply stopped having wet dreams.

 

Three days ago, a beautiful girl came to my house, I have no girl friend of wife, that girl made me fantasize in a level that I couldn't stop, when I was trying to sleep, it was impossible to stop fantasize, I tried everything, listeting to my voice with motivacional phrases non stop, then turn on youtube till I get sleepy. The sexual power that I got inside took control of me for a few minutes, that night I had a wet dream. I always try not to fantasize, my wet dreams do not include sexual images or experiences, when I wake up I cant remember anything. But if you fantasize a lot, then you will have terrible nightmares, you can even find yourself PMOing in the dream, like me once ago.

 

Yes, i agree with that, the problem is, you will never stop fantasizing, you will always fantasize about women, because we need sex as much as we need food.
If you would be able to stop fantasizing completely you would be budda, or jesus. By the other side, i agree you have to fantasize the less you can, but you are going to have periods in which your balls will be full, you will naturally crave sex, and you will not be able to stop anyway, and have a wet dream.

Telling someone to stop fantasizing is like telling you to stop thinking about a pink elephant right now...

 

So, you're going to kick yourself for an unconscious action over which you have no control? Seems pretty harsh man!
Wet dreams are proof your body is resetting to normal/pre-porn motivation. For those who don't masturbate, semen is naturally excreted through nocturnal emissions or in the urine. I'd say it's a sign of how great you're doing! Way to go!

Yep, that's why they have a lot of problems with child abuse.

 

I find stress to often be the cause of my wet dreams, and a real kicker as although I don't see them as relapse necessarily, not then following-up into relapse behaviour after that trigger is a real challenge for me - just succumbed now!

 

Dude, wet dreams are not a relapse, you can't control them!
