Sadness and Porn

    Hi everybody,

    I don't understand why when I feel sad, I want to watch porn.. I noticed that sadness is the " target emotion " of my addiction.

    Sadness is motivated by fears and anxiety from the past and memory.

    Hard to fight that..

    It is very hard (almost impossible) to fight alone.
    Seek help... many on this site have been there and can help.
    If your sadness is depression based you could consider seeking professional help...?

    You're not alone. I usually feel the incentive to say f*** it and watch porn when I'm feeling upset or mentally exhausted. Porn offers temporary relief.

    Yep, that's what drugs are for, not feeling the feeling you don't want to feel. Being that cigarettes, alcohol, cocaine, heroine or porn...
