Yep, counter reset, but not the end of the world. It takes time to be good and get smarter. When we are extremely smart and good for ourselves, its time to lay in the coffin lol. Anyway i speak for myself at least lol.
I can even fall into it now as I am kinda home alone and having a lot of internet. But that's what I've learnt from abstaining. You're the master of your mind. During that period I had super strong urges to MO that I never had in PMO time. See at 45°c, you're having a super urge yet you don't do it. That's what I call control.
LOL, now I have the direction that I wanted. To get a job is my target now. The only thing that matters now is the amount of time I'm giving into preparation of target than thinking about PMO and nofap. Good luck!
Well, in my mind, every time that you pursue a "healthy"goal (like getting that job), its always time better spent than PMO. Also, succeeding raises self-esteem, increases knowledge (finding a job, then KEEPING a job) are life skills. Working on that goal is quite the opposite of what PMO does. So there you go, you have something nice in front of you. Keep us posted on your endeavour. You can PM me if you wish.
After 500 successful days why you intentionally did it man... I felt really bad when I read that. Btw what were you wanted to check about prostate? I know doctors say it's good for prostate but what you thought you will realise about it after fapping?
Hello, when I used to MO earlier times, I would often have the pain passing urine after MO. And it would last a hell long and very painful. So that's first reason why I did it.
To some extent, yes but I still think it's there. That's why I'm gonna abstain again to check it later.
If you masturbate for a long time or rub really hard it can cause pain after when you urinate because you have damaged the urethra.
That's an idiotic myth that stemmed from a misinterpretation of a study that found that more ejaculations prevent prostate cancer (but they didn't differentiate between ejaculation from sex and masturbation), they just assumed they are the same. This is the study to end all studies: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7242091 Prostate cancer mortality among Catholic priests. Clerics experienced mortality ratios of 15% less for all causes of death and 30% less for cancer mortality, given mortality patterns among New York State white males of comparable ages. Twelve deaths from prostatic cancer were observed while 19.8 were expected. This represents a mortality experience significantly less than that of the general noncelibate population. Fantasizing is mental porn, so you didn't actually do 500 days
That's interesting, but you don't now if those priests were masturbators and porn addicts, or how many times they beat their meat...
Ejaculation from sex and masturbation are pretty similar and the studies for prostate cancer and ejaculation are pretty mixed there is still no conclusive evidence about whether it is associated or not as many studies are conflicting. There may be some confounding variables, we don't know if they eat differently than the normal population. Maybe they smoke less. Maybe they live a more healthy life in general. Maybe they M like there's no tomorrow. I completely agree with this statement.
Thanks for that info! And I used to fantasize when I used to do PMO but not anymore. During the streak I never searched for p once by myself. Hope it clears that. Good luck!!
You're welcome. I meant that any type of fantasizing is mental porn. Even if you're fantasizing about your hot neighbor.
Incorrect https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16095799 The post-orgasmic prolactin increase following intercourse is greater than following masturbation and suggests greater satiety. "Using data from three studies of men and women engaging in masturbation or penile-vaginal intercourse to orgasm in the laboratory, we report that for both sexes (adjusted for prolactin changes in a non-sexual control condition), the magnitude of prolactin increase following intercourse is 400% greater than that following masturbation." The chances they masturbate are very low since the whole point of being a monk is no sexual release. Very few may do it but overall it will be much lower than general population. Also, the sampling size is huge (6,226)
Very interesting, thanks for sharing. You're probably right, but the Catholic priests probably live a healthier life than the average New Yorker, so still too many confounding variables.
