I cannot sleep at night easily I may stay at the bed for 8 or 9 hours and sleep just 3 hours or less.
And if i slept i got dreams full of guilt because of my old habit of watching porn.
Any idea how I can go back to normal states.

You can't. Accept it as a small part of the process while you figure out the rest of your life. Once you build more positive life activities and hobbies the insomnia goes away naturally.

3 hours is not ok and should this persist you should see a doctor or psychologist about it.

Insomnia however is to be expected as masturbation is a very powerful sedative and the body got used to sleep with it. It's like when you take melatonin for a long time and then stop.. the body is not used to go to sleep on it's own.

You should be tired after a few days of only sleeping 3 hours a day, so able to sleep better after that? if it persists for more than a week definitely see a doctor. I only lose a few hours sleep when I have a severe urge, but I sleep well on other nights. I never used masturbation to sleep though, so I don't have much of an issue

that last point is not a great one... the more you try not to think about porn when trying to sleep the more your brain will focus on it. sometimes you just have to lie there and accept the urges until you fall asleep. good points other than that though

I think the key is not to "not think of porn", rather to acknowledge and observe the toughts, and focus on breath or something.
If you observe rationally, you detach emotionally.

This. I had issues to fall asleep too. For various reasons. Yes stopping MO (if MO was part of the going to bed ritual) will make it harder to fall asleep.
But keep in mind that coincidentally there might be other reasons for this in parallel; If it continues for a decent amount of time, you mental health may suffer a little bit, due to sleep deprivation. As ULTRAFAB mentioned, don't hesitate to talk to a doc about it. That may be a game changer for you. Good sleep= better energy and mood. You may have less tendency to suffer if you sleep better, as a general statement.

try valerian root, it will take a few days or a week to act but has no side effects and addiction risk and also do not panic, sometimes when you quit PMO it's a normal thing to have insomnia, i had a lot, sometimes i couldn't sleep at all (3 hours would have been awesome!!) but i've got through it. also try to stay away from all electronic devices and blue light at least 2-3 hours before your sleep time.

I am sleeping well now since 2 days... it took me around 4 days to overcome this issue naturally.

  14. I’ve started taking Ambien at night, I don’t drink or take any drugs now. I must say it’s helped, I know I’ve gotta cut down soon, then stop at some point in near future, but it’s giving me some breathing space, I felt like I was going into psychosis from the withdrawals from dopamine, S addiction
Man, I’m totally shocked at the length and severity of pmo/S addiction withdrawals
I’ve done pretty much most drugs in my life, from cannabis through to heroin,
This is the worst withdrawal I’ve ever had

Burn more energy during the day and stick to a strict lights out routine.
