Very simple question: what do you consider as pornography???

i know that this question has been discussed before in 2014 but won't hurt if we see people's opinion once again. so please join in.
for example do u consider pictures of beautiful girls without considerable nudity as porn? in general female nudity can be arousing but it is not considered pornography.
watching movies/tv series and even some of video games usually have some degree of nudity and sex scenes (The Witcher 3 for example, awesome game though), what about them?
even social media, Instagram, twitter etc.

i think in 21 century we are surrounded by arousing materials, most of comedies/jokes are about sexual things, in every single movie there is at least one sex scene, most music videos with a female performer sound sexy to me and i guess everything i look at is some kind of sexual and arousing (maybe sth is wrong with me LOL), i'm not sure our world was always been like this or this is a new phenomena.

The world in general was more modest, but many cultures' art forms were filled with immodesty - Romans, Greeks, Egyptians, etc.

  3. Women being penetrated on video. Nothing less. Perhaps I was just too addicted but I got to a point where I thought Playboy magazines were mainstream.

Pornography refers to writings, pictures, films etc, designed to stimulate sexual excitement.

So, it has a great deal to do with the intent of producing the material.

  6. honestly pornography is in the eye of the beholder, really its anything you sexually get off on that is not natural, for one dude it might be potatoes, for another women, for another animals, so like i said anything you are attracted to or lust after.

so when i see a picture of a semi nude/hot girl (it's a casual picture) obviously i'm not watching porn, but that makes me a little aroused and that would trigger my porn addiction and all of my favorite porn scenes/stars pop in my head. what can i do about this? we can't live like a monk so i ultimately relapse with porn.
i agree with @littlekegger, to some of us almost everything is pornography even a casual picture of a nice girl, what can we do about it??

The true definition of pornography is: pictures or videos depicting couples having sex, oral or intercourse. Nudity in itself is not porn, but what happens is when your brain is no longer aroused by just nudity, then it craves more & the porn door opens.
Being excited by the sight of a nude or beautiful woman just means that your body is working correctly.

  9. its all about your mentality, you can let these things get to you or you can realize that you are not the same person you used to be and not let it get to you, tell yourself you are not that person any more and you have no reason to get turned on.

    This is a good question.

If you look back at the 60s (or probably don't, best stay away from that), photographs of naked women simply posing and smiling at the camera was considered porn. In the 70s naked people mashing their genitals together was porn. And like most things, over time it got "advanced", if you could call it that. New genres began to pop up, feeding off people's fetishes and other fucked up things.

Modern day "Glamour Nudity" is thought to be an art form, but it would definitely have been looked at as porn back in the day. So for me, nudity getting masqueraded as art with supposedly deep messages is porn. Adult webcamming websites are promoting porn. Godawful musicians use partial nudity to distract people from how bad their songs actually are, and most of these videos have little to no difference from certain genres of porn (for an example, teasing etc.). We have even reduced some of the world's best athletes to mere objects of lustful fascination. Just look at how many magazines sign up athletes to do nude photoshoots ahead every Olympics now. We even have renowned tabloids promoting kiddie porn when they follow underage kids of famous celebrities and talk about how stunning they're going to look when they're all grown up.

well said bro, that is exactly what i'm trying to say, we are living in a time that everything is arousing and sexual and if you complain, people just recommend frequent masturbation as a way to release your tension and become so numb that even the actual porn or real sex would not turn you on. if you decide to not masturbate then you can't live in this century because masturbation generally regarded as a healthy normal thing and they admit that you can't live in modern world without being constantly teased by sexual materials and ultimately you have to masturbate or suffer! (although masturbation itself is not a solution)

i agree but when you get excited by casual things it became much harder to stay away from porn or masturbation.
