I'm so mad. After 112 days I and fell back. I feel like this addiction will never go away. It's been so long and I still had feelings to do it. It was getting easier, but something's were triggers. I tried to stay away but I was alone, had Internet access and had like two energy drinks which made me restless. Long story short, I blew it and now have to start again. I need words of encouragement and tips from my brothers and sister on here. Please help me out. Text does not convey the different set of emotions I have right now about this situation.

Don't need to convey with words, most of us know exactly how you feel. Although I have never gotten to even 20% the days that you just went, I know how sometimes all the wrong things happen at the same time to make a recipe for disaster. But, don't hate yourself because 112 days is longer than most people will probably ever achieve. Just try again. You definitely can repeat it and you already know you have the potential, so just push through the chasing effect and start fresh again.

i relapsed after 105 days. do not worry too much. start again and beat 112 days.

imagine how many times you would have fapped during 112 days without abstinence.

your mind/brain and body had a long rest. for sure you made a good progress!

    good luck.

Don't give up hope nopenotdoinit! One hundred and twelve days is amazing!

It may feel like this addiction will last forever, and it may last a long time to kick completely, but in retrospect, 112 days is a relatively short period of time. It's about a third of a year. When you compare it to the rest of your life, just think of all the happy years you could have without porn/ masturbation in the future. Even if it takes us a year to reboot, we will still have many years ahead. And actually, a year is a good period of time to create enough of a resolve to survive without nofap in future.

Now is the time to learn from your mistakes. Learn what your triggers are and work out how to avoid them in your next streak. Don't let this lapse get you down. Don't binge and I'm sure you will start finding it easier again in your next streak. Good luck! :)

Check out the app Brainbuddy man! It has helped me so much!!
And I mean even if u did relapse on the 112 day. It is still f*cking awesome that you have just pmo ONE time in 112 Days! That is just awesome, hang in there my friend. Hang in there. And just as nobrainer said, learn from your mistakes, now you know your triggers better.
    Good luck
    Peace!

I can't imagine the bad feelings you have after breaking your streak. It's a positive that you're having negative feelings because it shows how badly you want to kick this.
@nobrainer is right about the length of time. Even for me I realize how far I've personally come we are not cured after 100, 200, or even 300 days but everyday that goes by without acting out is another day that pmo doesn't have a true pull on your life.
I too still struggle with bad thoughts daily. Last week Thursday I had my worse day since starting, it felt like day 1 I was pulling my hair out. It's important to tell others about it. My Therapist recommended reaching out to a sponsor (if you're doing 12 step) or accountability partner that is exclusively helping you so they can relate to how you're feeling if you're at a breaking point.
Nofap.com is a great community but in all honesty it isn't enough sometimes when our minds are ready to pop.

Hey I noticed you live in the US and thought Id inform you on the amazing power of the 12 step meetings. Sorry you broke your streak but I think now is the perfect time to get involved in 12 step. I'm assuming you aren't already so I'm sorry if you are.
They are free, you'll be surrounded by others going thru exactly what you are going thru and you will find a sponsor who you can rely on next time you're urges are bad. I highly recommend it especially now after relapsing because it can be easy to just slide back into the addiction again because of the shame.
Here is a link to where some meetings are held near you. Seriously consider it.

Wow, this is amazing Justquit. Seriously thank you so much for this great advice. And to everyone on here who have helped me, I can't thank you enough. If I can help any of you in the ways you've helped me these past few days, please call in the favor. You've all earned it.
By the way, I don't feel too bad about the relapse anymore. I know I've taken a step backwards yes, but I have even more energy for this new reboot now. With some new resources under my belt, plus the greater confidence, focus and other benefits I've gotten from my last lengthy reboot, I know I am progressing in the right direction!! This fuels me more so than ever before!

I got over confident when I hit 60 days,
And then one slip turned into quite a bender. :(
    Starting over :)

Look at all the green on your counter
Set up some short term goal counters to build on some shorter term successes, while you watch that one little red mark march further and further to the left, and then disappear.

  11. That sucks dude but keep in mind that you achieved something a lot of us only dream of. Don't concentrate on the fall rather focus your energy on getting back up. Congrats on lasting that long I hope I can one day also reach that milestone!

I've felt similar to the way you feel on more than one occasion. I once relapsed on the 169th day. At that point I wasn't really fighting the urges. I had reasoned with myself that PMOing would be okay at this point. The PMO felt empty and not even close to the anticipation my mind was telling me it would be. The point is that it wasn't worth it, and based on all of my past experiences, it never is. How could something so temporary, so fleeting, ever be worth it? We are not at a complete lost though. Hidden beneath the pain of relapse is the opportunity to gain an understanding that builds us up, to be better prepared for future confrontations with PMO, and other negative temptations.

You guys shouldn't be too hard on yourselves when you relapse. The way I look at it is as long as you are doing it much less than you used to per year or per month then that's what it's all about. Since I have been focusing on NoFap I'm doing it MUCH less now and I am much healthier. I really don't carry around any delusion that I will never again fap. I don't think that's realistic. My only goal is to do it FAR less than I used to. That's all.
