First naked woman pictures i was probably 7 or 8. First porn magazine i was 10, and first porn video i was 10\11.
Internet porn at 13.

I think this shit fucked me up pretty soon...

 

For me, masturbation and watching porn were two different "first experiences."

The First Time I Masturbated
The first time I ever masturbated I was 12. That was 14 years ago (I'm 26 now). It was an accidental discovery, because at the time I had phimosis and had been instructed to gently peel back the foreskin every time I peed.

Haha, in retrospect, it was a shockingly amusing discovery. Once I successfully peeled it back all the way and wiped the area, I repeated the action a couple times to clean off the nasty-looking smegma that accumulates there when unwashed. To my then-surprise, I felt oddly good and shot off a glob that could paint a wall. Hit myself too, in my hair--it's something I can laugh about. I was naive back then!

Feeling funny and embarrassed, I cleaned up my mess and went on with whatever my 12 year old self did. Probably videogames, haha. It was a strange event, but I thought little about it at the time. Didn't repeat it again until later, when my libido as a teenager kicked into high gear and I didn't know how to approach girls yet.

The First Time I Watched Porn
I don't remember the age I did this, but I know it was around early adolescence, a year or two before masturbating for the first time. Back then, on the late night TV channels, they'd put pornography after midnight. It was probably around Christmas or New Years because as a tween that'd be the only times I'd stay up that late.

Whatever it was about, I don't know. I just remember flipping through the channels bored when I stumbled upon one where a woman was working out naked on some gym equipment. Weird, I know right? This captivated my young male mind like you'd expect. I probably got a boner, but strangely, I didn't think to masturbate at the time. I distinctly remember the "girls gone wild" type infomercials being a thing back then too.

The Habit Forms
It was only later, when I was 13 that it occurred to me to combine the two acts together to create the habit I regret now. But even then, at first, I indulged in the habit of porn+masturbating because it felt good, I felt horny and I didn't have a girlfriend available. Self-control wasn't something I valued or even thought to apply in the sexual side of my life, because...well, the short-sightedness of being young, you know?

When it Became a Habit Dsyfunction
That pleasurable habit became a problem when I was 18 or so, and started to rely on the porn+masturbation habit to escape the increasingly troublesome circumstances of my life. Once high school was over, I had to "grow up" which involved going to college, getting a job, taking the first steps to becoming a self-sufficient man.

Yeah...I was stressed out frequently, since at that age, I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life (perhaps I still don't, but at least now I have clues about what I don't want). And without friends, without that high school social circle, without the skills to meet women on my own on the street, I turned toward the then-enjoyable habit of using porn and turned it into my go-to way of relieving my stress and loneliness.

Bad move, seen clearly in retrospect. But at the time, it seemed a good idea.

I've been trying to curb the bad habit since then, with short episodes of successful abstinence. I think my longest was 3 months, when 5 years ago I went off to boot camp after I enlisted (no chance to masturbate there); other times, on my own initiative and willpower, I think my longest streak was 14 days.

 

About 12 or 13. I think it impacted me massively as a kid. Just read some school reports when I was 15. How much my personality changed from achieving good grades at school to being unmotivated and evasive.

 

First time watching porn: I was 13 (unhappy coincidence), with two of my friends, and we did that while we were at my place, while my parents were away. I pretended to find it exciting, although that wasn't really the case, I just found it weird and over the top. You know, it's one of these times when you want to defy the rules. In mid and high school, I found it weird that my friends talked about it so much, and at 14, a guy in my class even asked me who my favorite pornstar was (he asked me that, not if I could name one!). I think the easier access to pornography gives teens a distorted vision of sex and unrealistic sexual expectations.

 

I was 14, it was softcore on Cinamax. I spent a whole summer then waiting for the late adult movie at midnight. I was living with dad then and he had to sleep early for work, leaving everything for me, I felt like a king.

Porn, Softcore, Nudity and "Adult Situations" have always been with me... since, forever.
There was plenty of these things on Brazilian TV in the 90's during my childhood.
At the same age I was watching The Lion King I was watching the carnival showing pretty much everything on screen.
When I was watching Power Rangers or Saint Seya there were soap operas with sex scenes.

Nowadays, things has changed, and TV has become much more conservative.
But the damage was already done on me.

These things instigated my curiosity.
When I was 9 years old, I remember searching for Playboy on my mother's computer at her work.
I bought my first porn magazine when I was 11. Watched my first porn movie when I was 12. At 13, I had pretty much of a porn stash in my room. At 15 we bought our first computer, which stayed in my room, so internet porn was free.

Now I'm trying to cope with this damage.

 

I was about 11 when i first saw a magazine shown to me by an older person but still a kid. Think i was about 12-13 when i got cable TV in my bedroom...well that was a big mistake, in the UK we used to have a channel called Television X and it had a 10 minute preview at midnight. I remember one time going to check the preview and it stayed on for about an hour! that was like buying a pack of 8 sausages and finding there was 10. Then we got the internet when i was about 14-15 and it all went downhill from there

 

I was about 14 I would go on Howard Stern a radio show in the US and look up the porn stars that would be on his show then one thing led to another.

 

Wow I'm glad that TV has changed although now days most kids have their first contact with porn via the Internet..

 

I used to steal dirty magazines from my dad when I was 9 or 10 ( over 30 years ago ). First time actually watching it was probably close to the same time. Maybe 11 or 12. We found a stash of 8mm films lol and some VHS tapes. The internet didnt really hit public households till I was in Junior High School, but it took an hour to download a single pornographic pic. Then high speed hit a few years later and screwed us all up.

 

I was 8yo, my friend got us a CD with some mother & daughter porn. I didn't even start with some normal porn, I remember watching only mature porn those first few years. I have wasted so much money of my parents on dial-up internet over time, waiting like half an hour to download 3mb of free porn trailers. It is so sad when I think about it now...

 

Still the images are vivid on my mind on 2nd saturday of 2007(age 12),my neighbour uncle made me to saw.on the next day he had molest me.

Yes... Now it's even worse.
Some folks have this nostalgic view, using terms like "classic", "vintage" or "golden years" and so on... But I disagree.
Maybe it was harder to find hardcore porn or stuff that is available in seconds now, but, one thing leads to another.

One of my concerns with younglings today is that we can not prohibit or prevent them from seeing porn. But is fundamental teach them hoow to cope with this experience without traumatizing themselves - as we all did with our experiences
