I feel ashamed! I came such a long way and worked my ass off and I had a weak moment and slipped. I have no words except that I am angry at myself right now. I don't want to go back to the way I was before. I am in a state of improving my life and I was so happy to have given up the habit, and then I relapsed. :(

I understand your situation man. It was almost a year you abstained of everything, I know you can go back and try again. You must be strong, don't let this take your will to improve yourself. Be strong and remember you are not alone.

That is awesome to make it that far, you shouldn’t be mad, you should be proud of yourself!!!

If I were you, I would look at how many days in a year you abstained, because you are not back to square 1 after that much progress. Yes if you binge for 2 more weeks every day then you are, but if you carry on as you were before, 1 day is minor in the grand scheme of things. Many people wish we got as far as you have!!

  5. You made it a long long way and you have learned a lot over this time. Don't let this one time get to you. And do not let this feeling drive you to do more of it. Just keep pushing forward.

One blip in 231 days... hardly even counts if you are straight back on it.
Please don't reset your clock as it may do irreparable damage to your efforts

You are fine. Don't panic. Act as if nothing happened and move on. We won't tell anyone okay! ;-)

I understand you feel bad about it though. But really, cut yourself some slack.

Thanks for the feedback. This is an interesting take on the matter. I do see where resetting the clock can cause damage. It does make you feel like you went back to square one. I am starting to realize this can cause for me to start spiraling down, which has happened in the past when I've relapsed after 90 days. Initially, I did reset my clock on Sunday when I originally posted this thread, and unfortunately, I slipped two my times this week. Once on Tuesday and tonight. However, after reading your posts, I decided to reset my clock back to NYE 2017 when I started the reboot. That way I won't feel like a total failure and spiral downward even more. 3/236 days is still a blip, but I have to cut it right here! Thank you guys very much! Have a great PMO free weekend!
