Relapsed After 21 days....help?

    I made it 21 days and have been enjoying the super powers ALLOT! Confidence, magnetic aura to women, power in the gym, and just a general extra energy & motivation to excel at work. Well today I got a crazy urge and lost myself on reddit thinking I could just edge to precum and stop. Well I stepped on the brakes in my head but my body had other ideas.

    So my question is for someone that's made it that many days, how long does it take to get that testosterone, dopamine, and other stuff back that gives you the good feelings?

    I'm 30, in great shape physically, and single... if that has any effect.

    First off, each person is different so there is no perfect recipe for what you want.

    Once you learn self control you can get that "good feeling" as you call it, back in 24 hours.

    But the only way to have continual peace of mind is to stop all together. That usually takes around 90 days. But you will first feel "it's working" at 14 days.

    Remember every day is a choice, and you're only ever minutes away from a reset. Don't kid yourself saying you're "all good" when you are still endulging and craving the dopamine hits. This is a fight, there is no easy way about it.

    Great job on 21 days, I'm excited to hear how your new day 22 is!

    I've been trying this for about 3 months now and I end up going backwards by thinking I can edge and stop. Yeah it never works. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've failed that way. I'm gonna beat it into my head, no touching my dick except to shower or go to the bathroom.

    Its not even about that, the way that it always leads to a full on fuck up.

    Just the act of edging is horrible, all it does is strengthen the neural pathways that you're trying to kill. P, M and O, all 3 are your addiction and feeding them in anyway is slowing or completely undoing progress.

    Even if you went a year without MO but continued edging you still haven't even slightly weakened those neural pathways in your brain. You gotta cut off all the bullshit that you can, even making an effort not to stare at girls you see helps destroy those pathways.

    Just focus on the current day and don't let the rationalizations lead you to keep feeding the addiction. If you need to, ask on here if something is a rationalization or not. I can basically guarantee it is but still if you need someone to say it in the moment it might help.

  7. After falling and getting back up you can be stronger, you've learned something and can carry that over to this time. Learn from what happened and try not to worry about it too much.
