    Hello fellow Fapstronauts,

I've been wanting to start this for a long time, and now is the day. Actually I'm feeling excited about this experiment. I'm 30, and in a long term relationship, it's high time I start getting rid of fapping, and I'm really grateful to have found this community.
Last year I managed to quit smoking and I never looked back since. I'd like to do the same with fapping since I now know it's a major addiction.

I used to work from home on my computer, and PMO would cripple my productivity (and self-esteem) like crazy.

Last month I was on a 15 day walk in the Spanish countryside, it was a amazing experience. Seeing the sun rise every morning, and do nothing but walk, eat and sleep really reboots your brain and kinda connects you back to nature and reality. No Internet, no email, no PMO. I felt amazing and full of life.

However as soon as I came back home, old habits came back, and I watched porn. My mood went from excellent, enthusiast and connected to depressed and addicted again to PMO. This has to end. So that's my first day.

I'm aiming for a 7 day challenge and I'll see where that leads. Thanks for listening and good luck for your challenges.

At age 45, I feel the same. Right now I am at a week without MO. I started with 2 then 4 then 6 days and now a week. I want to go 30 days without but it takes time getting used to not MO. By the end of the week I am going completely crazy because I am so aroused. It is an unusual feeling for me.

    Best of luck.

Best of luck with the challenge. It certainly isn't easy but can be done if you set your mind to it. Just take one day at a time and deal with urges as they arise. And no matter how difficult it gets, always ask yourself - do I really want to go back to where I was?
