So I think nofap won't help me. I have had numb genitals and low libido since I took Prozac 1 year ago. It is a really frustrating condition. I am going to give nofap another try but I know I will be depressed af once I realize my problem is not due to fapping. Has any of you heard of PSSD (Post-SSRI Sexual Dysfunction) or were you on SSRIs and you regained your normal sexual functioning? I am just so desperate and don't know what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.

Exactly the same here. I was on SSRIs for 7 years, though, and I have been off for about 3. In addition to PSSD, I now suffer from brain fog, anxiety, anhedonia, premature ejaculation and dysphoria, all of which weren't a part of my life before I took SSRIs.

So what do we do now? I am only 23 years old and I don't wanna live with this condition for the rest of my life having remember I only took them for 14 days and I am doomed forever. I can't get married or have a normal life due to these "safe drugs". Oh God, please tell me this is not permanent. nofap is my last resort to get back my genital sensation. I can live with low libdo but not with numb genitals.

I take Anti depressants and NoFap has helped me tremendously. It just takes time.

I take anti depressants too, and nofap helped me a lot. I recovered my libido and sometimes i have good spontaneous erections. However i'm looking for getting rid of these pills because now with nofap i don't need them, but my psychiatrist refuses and it bothers me so much. PSSD is real but i think with a healthy lifestyle and without pills it's possible to heal correctly.

This is a story of a guy that apparently recovered from PSSD: https://www.survivingantidepressant...y-from-protracted-zoloft-withdrawal-and-pssd/

From my own experience I can say that SSRI really affects your sexual function. I started to take SSRI in 2015, before that I had no problems reaching orgasm. After I started to take AD I hardly could achieve any orgasm and ejaculations were painful. Year later I stopped taking SSRIs, but the problems persisted. Sometimes I was able to reach orgasm faster, sometimes it was delayed ejaculations and even if I was not taking AD anymore my sexual system wasn't functioning as well as prior taking AD. In 2017 I went nofap 'hardmode' and started taking SSRI's again as my depression got worse. I have no idea how it would be now as I don't masturbate and don't have sex. All I can say, SSRIs can have severe side effects on your sexual function and these effects might remain even after you stop taking AD.

When I abstained from PMO my libido slowly decreased to zero. I don't have any desire to have orgasm anymore. I don't know why. It might be the side effects of AD I'm taking or maybe I'm still in severe flatline. I was expecting to have wet dreams, but I didn't got them, maybe I'm already too old for this. As for sex I'm not married and don't date anyone, but it isn't a big problem as I have no libido anyway. Sometimes I wonder if libido will ever come back, but I have no clue. Right now sex is out of interest for me. I even don't have any urges to watch porn anymore. As for 'genital numbness', I don't think I have this, I still have healthy morning erections, just no desire to have orgasm. When I see beautiful woman I feel nothing, not interested at all.

Your psychiatrist cannot refuse! He is a doctor and can only advise. What patients do with that advice is a matter for them. He can fill out the prescriptions, but you don't have to collect them or if you collect them, you don't have to take them. ;) Some people have unpleasant side effects for a short time if they stop suddenly, so you could phase them out over a few weeks. But you are in control of what you put into your body!
