I was wondering, if I do MO, what would be the least harmful material?

I'm thinking porn videos and fantasizing scenes are the worst because they don't equal reality. What about images of women? Or magazines even.

I mean I can totally stop watching porn but am having difficulties not MO-ing.

    Thanks.

  2. You'll be able to survive without MO-ing, in my opinion you need a break from that to get over a porn addiction. With a porn addiction any media can be considered pornographic.

Avoid videos or magazines or any media. A lot of NoFappers can't O without these crutches.

Perhaps no material, just your own physical sensations. Focus on those.

Porn is any sexual video from a porn site that contains intercourse or nudity...
Although things like twerking videos on YouTube can be very arousing... I wouldn't classify them as porn... cos if they were porn... they wouldn't be allowed on YouTube

Gary Wilson wrote somewhere that if you need to ask if it's porn you probably shouldn't be watching it during recovery.

Personally, I'd say it depends on your goals and the condition you are recovering from.

But even if you don't have PIED and just want to quit porn videos and pictures showing actual sex, for example, then stick to that definition and don't just slowly increase the number of things that are acceptable.

I would argue though that it's easier to stay away from porn videos for example if you don't tease yourself with porn pics either.
