So I've been into the struggle of porn since I was about 13 yrs old and now I'm 18. It's a pretty long time! It was slow at first, but then it just escalated more and more until I decided that enough was enough. So last year around August I decided to stop for sure and I decided to center myself on other things (hobbies, faith, etc.). And I was going strong for 3 months until I relapsed again :(. Then the whole month of December was a disaster for me. Starting the new year, I was planning to start clean and no more "PMO". I lasted all the way until today and I am pretty disappointed, but I wanted to start my fresh streak on this forum. I'm ready to finish this year strong with all the help I can get because I know that I won't be able to do this alone. Maybe I'll do a journal on how my streak is looking. Thanks for reading .

Five years really seems like a long time at your age, but it is not beyond you to recover. You are still very young and have so much of life in front of you. Good for you to see this and take action to stop a compulsion that never helped anyone. Come here often and read what others just like you are going through and then read what older men like me have been through and see how it is an ageless problem. Take this one day at a time and work your ass off to get past it and you will be so proud of yourself each day you resist. I know i am, even at my age. It will lead to other changes, like self-confidence, energy, and for me, has provoked me to take steps in other areas, like losing weight and improving my health. We can help each other get through this and move on with our lives. One day at a time, my friend and good luck.
