    To lose weight you will need to combine sport with a diet of decreased calories, but if you are talking about burning fats, then any cardio exercises plan or running every morning works.
     
  3. Diet, weight lifting, HIIT & LISS.

    Really though nothing works better than one armed fork put downs.

    I would say that surely it's what you will enjoy doing? There's no point us recommended you something that you hate because then you won't do it and you're essentially then doing nothing. You might as well pick something that you enjoy and stick to it.

    The general recommended aim is 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise (moderate intensity would be if you can talk but can't sing) 5 times a week. Again, the most important thing is to pick something that you will enjoy doing and will therefore do consistently.

    Diet is the most important though.

    3. Stay away from unhealthy lifestyle

    All of the sports connected with cardio- running, crossfit, training at the gym, football, basketball, etc- everything which forces you to move. Except chess and cards :)

  6. I lost a lot of weight when I practiced kickboxing. I miss those days.

    Exercise is mostly meaningless if you don’t have a well balanced diet happening at the same time. If you want to lose weight, change the way you eat.

    1. Stop eating junk food - limit this to one takeaway a week. No biscuits, cakes or sweets
    2. Start lifting weights in the gym - at least 1 or 2 times a week
    3. Pick any sport that involves movement

    You will lose weight fast

  9. Play soccer(football) if you are looking for a sport to lose weight. almost anyone who enjoys playing this sport is likely very fit.

    Jiu jitsu, kickboxing. I know some people in my class who have lost over 100 lbs each. For me, everytime I finish class, I am exhausted with nothing else in me. That doesn't happen when I workout or do the stairmaster even if I do 150 floors.

  11. Weight lifting: Work out every muscle group three days a week as opposed to working only 1 muscle as in "leg day, back day, etc" throughout the week. People do make muscle in 3 day splits, but it takes way longer. The people who make it quick are those who are on steroids.

    Don't change your diet right now. Start counting calories and and then drop 10% from whatever you're eating now. Eat whatever you want, just try not to eat proceased food because they make you feel shit anyway. Drink water. Sleep 8 hrs.

  12. Any sport that involves a lot of running. Add to that a good diet and you’ll quickly shed the pounds.

    Keep in mind that if you get into weightlifting you may gain weight since muscle is denser then fat.

    I used to play Volleyball and i've never seen a fat dude doing it. thats a good one same goes for tennis a sport where you have to move a lot.

    I prefer basketball or ultimate frisbee.

    Though, lime everyone else is suggesting make sure your diet/lifestyle is on point. High fat/low carb diet + fermented foods, sleep, intermittent fasting, etc.

    Muay Thai. When I train I don't even realise how exhausted I am until after the session because I have so much adrenaline and excitement while I train.
     
  16. I did Muay Thai myself and lost 16 lbs in 1 month. Still the best exercise for loosing weight is walking. No cost, no injury no equipment and it works your entire body.

    I agree with the comments that emphasize diet as eating in a caloric deficit is the most effective method to lose weight. That being said, exercise is also very important and sustainability is key. Find something that you enjoy and will be willing to do on a regular basis so the weight loss process can be fun and successful.

    You have to define more specific goals. Do you want to lower your body fat percentage? Increase muscle mass? Have more energy for sports? There is a different approach for each of those. If you want to lose fat, the quickest way is to change your diet. Sugar is the biggest culprit. Animal fat is actually good for you. If you do this right you will lose weight, even without exercise.

    If you want to have more energy to play sports, then daily jogging/HIIT/sprints and maybe sign up for a league. It takes a LOT of work to lose weight on cardio alone, which is why it's recommended in conjunction with a diet.

    If you want bigger muscles than forget the cardio and focus on weight-lifting or body-weight exercises (you will gain weight). If you want to look good in a swimsuit... then weightlifting combined with a well-planned diet so that you can replace the fat with muscle. You won't lose any weight, but will be significantly more healthy and will look good too.

    BTW, weight-lifting is great for physique whether your male or female. If you don't believe me, go visit a gym.
