Done NoFap for almost 7 weeks and although I've been emotionally numb long before that I'm alot worse since NoFap and was wondering if I'll ever get my emotions back ? Seems like a long time not to have them back since quitting ? Another question is I'm on antidepressants for only two weeks and wondered if they can help with bringing emotions back ? Would really appreciate it if you could reply thanks

The short answer is yes, emotions will return. Is going to take a while though. Your brain is in the process of figuring out where thing really belong. Its building new pathways and deleting others. The antidepressants will help, but you may need a different dose or different drug. Currently i am on 2 seperate drugs. One really helped with depression, the other helped with the dull feeling. Continue to talk with your doctor and left them know what is and isnt helping.

Hang in, good things take time to happen. all Good and bad seasons in our life eventually end. That's a fact . Sometimes it takes a lot of fire and pressure to create a diamond. Good luck !!!!keep living in the right now and do the small things that keep your living clean , diet ,exercise, try meditation? start small , no PMO , try cold showers it may help with the emotional numbness .
    and follow your doctors orders.

Try this app called headspace only 10 min a day, part of the process of change and growth is not doing it right. 10 minute a day after so many days created big changes for me . like patience with Myself and other people and better able to deal with everyday stress. Check it out I think there is a 30 day free trial.
