Heterosexuality is a paraphilia [Revised theory by the Author]

Edit: After due consideration, I have corrected the main theory of this thread as well as some other secundary ideas during the thread. Here are the updates and clarifications:

1) It is my suggestion that we should not use a word for defyning the attraction male-female because is something natural. Heterosexuality is part of a frame in which all paraphilias of our modern society coexists.
2) The distinction between normal attraction (natural-sexuality) and abnormal attraction (heterosexuality) is somehow blurred in this post (my mistake). A more clear distinction is this:
3) Normal attraction occurs when one is healthy in body and mind, and the subconscious force of reproduction in our biology expresses itself determining our sexual interest. Abnormal attraction occurs when one is unhealthy in body and mind, and his/her subconscious force of reproduction is clouded by a conscious corrupt mind.
4) Pornography is the main cause of abnormal attraction between humans. Being raised in a clothed society can produces these problems as well because a tabu is created around what is natural, the human body. Whatever other thing you can imagine that may cause a negative impact in the sexual development of a person, or affect negatively its body (lack of exercise, bad diet, etc) or mind, will produce abnormalities.
5) A man has normal attraction when he, wether or not he may want consciously reproduce, is attracted to the most fertile women, the ones who could help him have the most healthy offspring. For example, a woman with a breast-wist-hip ratio of 3-2-3 (of whatever ratio is best for conceiving), with an optimal BMI, beautiful, young, happy (attractive trait in woman), with high-pitched voice, who has regular menstruations. In short, whatever trait you may think that express that the woman is healthy and fertile.
6) A man has abnormal attraction when he is attracted to women who exhibit traits of being less healthy and fertile. Woman that will not help him to have better offspring, woman who have being avoided by his ancestors. When the reason of his attraction is not based in his genetic code but in mental images he may be esthetically attached. He fancys an object, a fetish, usually with obsesion. For example, being attracted to woman with not so optimal breast-wist-hip ratio, with small or excessively large breasts, woman with a BMI very low or very high (out of the optimal fertile range), woman too short or too small, blonde or brunette, etc. This is what I mean by heterosexuality.

Now, the part of ovulation.
7) Ovulation last for 1 to 2 days in the menstrual cycle. During this time the woman is as its peak of fertile. This optimal fertility is expressed in many biological ways as I describe along this thread. But the woman's body doesn't reach that state from night to day. It is gradual, an expands days before and after of ovulation.
8) We could say that approximately the woman is more attractive half a month (days around ovulation) and less attractive the other half (days around menstruation). This expresses in that in the first half the woman will have more desire to have intercouse, while in the second half he will have less or none desire for it.
9) It is possible for a man to be attracted to a woman regardless of the day of the menstrual cycle? It is normal attraction for a man to be sexually attracted to the picture of a nude woman without make up (this could confuse the result) that is in less attractive days of the month? I think that there are many traits that operate in order for a man to be attracted to a woman, all the senses are involved. It is a fact that, while our smell abilities seem to have worsen due to living in cities for so many centuries, our vision is one of the most powerful senses involved in sexual attraction. This is a reality wether or not someone have been exposed to porn. Therefore, if the woman in the example happens to be very beautiful and have an optimal breast-wist-hip ratio of 3-2-3, then it is normal that he will be attracted to her.
10) What if the man of the above example is a nudist and have been living between nude people all his live. I think that he may be attracted as well, but obviously without the overexcitement that accompany someone who has been raised in a clothed society. The tabu around the body can make a man to have an overexcited desire to see a naked woman because it is the forbidden fruit. But although a clothed society can cause this problem it doesn't necessarily mean that this should be added to the abnormal attraction side.
11) Finally, all that I have said is applicable to the inverse situation, a woman looking a man. I have focused in the other example because it is easier for me to explain it from my perspective.​

To better explain my point I will estate what is the right thing:

Natural-sexuality: The quality or characteristic of being sexually attracted solely to people of the opposite sex when the human female is ovulating.

That is, women that are ovulating become sexually attracted to men; and men become sexually attracted to women that are ovulating.

When a "factory settings" man look a nude woman who is not ovulating he will see a nude woman who is not ovulating. He will not get sexually excited, nor will he have desires to fecundate her.

When he is in the same room with a woman that is ovulating the story is very different. He can notice the biological changes that a woman experiences when she is ovulating. Namely:

• The face becomes more red, specially lips and cheeks. (This can get unnoticed if the woman wears make up).
• Her voice becomes higher, which make her more attractive.
• She emanates a highly attractive scent full of pheromones.
• She is more relaxed.
• In short, she is more beautiful and attractive. She also engages in unconscious sexual behaviours that will enable her to attract the attention of viril men.

In turn, when an ovulating woman is in the same room with a man that has high testosterone, great muscularity (specially in the upperbody), deep voice, pride expression in her face, etc (whatever other sign she can detect on him that inform her that the man is a good choice for mating), she will be very sexually attracted to him.

This is natural-sexuality.


Now, why heterosexuality is abnormal (paraphilia)?

A man who experiences heterosexual disorder (which is very common in our society, specially to those of us who have watched porn) will become sexually excited to a woman regardless of biology.

• Even if he is watching her in a photopraph and cannot smell her or hear her voice, he will get sexually excited.
• Even if she wears make up, he will get sexually excited.
• There is not even need that she is naked. Even if she is clothed, he will look at her breast (which are for nurturing babies) or any other part of her body and become sexual excited.
• If she is naked it is even worse. He cannot see how natural and normal (an uninteresting) is her body. All is a fetish for the heterosexual.

Recommendations to correct heterosexual disorder and return your mind to factory settings. In order (and over a period of time):

1. Stop watching porn. (Right now)
   
2. Stop masturbating. (Right now)
   
3. Stop masturbating using the body of a partner (that is, having sterile intercourse). (When you think you are ready)
   
4. Going a nudist beach and looking to nature with natural eyes. (When you think you are ready)

Final note of information.

During this post I have talked about sexual attraction meaning becoming sexually excited and desiring to engage in intercourse. But now I want to talk about sexual attraction meaning the attraction one sex has for the opposite sex.
This attraction does not depend on ovulation, it is more basic. Is the attraction between oposites: male-female, masculine-feminine, yang-yin, light-dark, hard-soft, etc. Men will always get attracted to women regardless of the ovulating cycle, and viceversa. Not only because for an energetic reason, but also biological. Some basic sexual traits exists in women regardless of their period. For examlpe, the breast to waist ratio, the waist to hip ratio, and other sexual traits that may exist.

Well reasoned, but I disagree. It is true that women can get pregnant if they have intercourse several days before start ovulating because sperm can survive up to ten days inside her. This doesn't mean they are fertile the whole month. Surely, she can't get pregnant after ovulating and during menstruation.

I think is not a matter of degree: women are sexually attractive when ovulating and not sexually attractive when not ovulating.

We can ask ourselves this question: Does make sense for a woman to attract the sexual interest in males when they are not ovulating? I say no for two reasons: is not good for them and is surely not good for offspring.

Is not good for women because intercourse can be painful when she is not ovulating. Why is this? For two reasons: The position of the cervix and its low level of lubrication during most of the month:

It is not good for the offspring because if the sperm has to remain inside her uterus for many days waiting for the arrival of the ovum, it will lose energy during the waiting and surely it will diminish the health quality of the baby. (This is only my opinion, I don't have any proof).​

Exactly. I suppose that perfum tries also to mimic the pleasant scent of ovulation (without great success according to the study already linked). I want to make a suggestion to all women (a suggestion that you are free to follow or not to follow): stop wearing make up and perfurm, you are confusing us!

You should re-read the final part of my original post. To develop it further: The sexual attraction (attraction of one sex for the opposite) is natural, is the attraction of the binaries yang-yin, masculine-feminine, positive-negative, etc. This attraction exists all days of the month, obviously. But the sexual excitation, the desire to fecundate, can only exist during female ovulation.

This is what exists: the desire to fecundate, to fertilize the female's ovum. Sex is only the process that we (humans) have to reach that end. Imagine that we were Piscis Sapiens Sapiens (a very intelligent species of fish): the female would lay the eggs in some plant and we would go and lay our sperm in the eggs.

The desire to have sex per se (for the reason of having sex) doesn't come from our "factory settings". It is abnormal. An abnormality that humans have suffered since ancient times, and it has come from generation to generation to us (like an "original sin"). I have the conviction that we can stop that and turn our brains (and those of our offspring) to "factory settings" version.

I have think on it a while and I think not. If any, that unpleasantness of intercourse during not-fertile days of the month would make her avoid intercourse. But females don't need that mechanism. They simply don't seek intercourse because they are not ovulating. That is, they are in a normal (non-fertile) state during most of the month and become fertile during 1-2 (and the ones preceding it).

In the post I used natural-sexuality, but only to illustrate the point. I don't really think is a good idea to coin a new name to describe a natural phenomenon. Using the suffixes -sexual or -phile we would be accepting the same framework of heterosexuality and the other uncountable paraphilias that exists today.
