Anyone else getting this??? I ended my streak a few weeks ago and I've been dating a girl for months who I really find attractive. Even when I can get a semi (that's the hardest I can get) I don't feel that chemical rush of arousal that I know I could feel. Is it possible that not being able to get erections has shut off my libido? I definitely don't think it's still flatline because I ended my streak

  2. First of all... Don't freakout Brother. That's completely normal. Stay cool.

Second, you can still be in flatline. It's very possible to complete that 90-day reboot and still haven't be completely cured.
I suggest that you give yourself more time and just wait your natural arousal to kick in. I know this is probably something you didn't want to hear, but it's still my suggestion. Also, if you're starting to freakout, you could pay visit to a doctor just to make sure there's nothing physiologically wrong with you and to calm you down.

I've been where you are right now, and let me tell you, your sex drive will return to it's normal state. It might take some time, but eventually you'll get there.

Stay strong and away from porn!

Thanks! It's definitely concerning that I didn't get hard when I tried using porn a few times though :/

  4. You're welcome Brother :)

In my experience it's best not to test ones erection or sex drive during rebooting. Try to focus on everything else in life than sex. I know how alarming that feels when you have absolutely NO SEX DRIVE whatsoever, but trust me, it goes with the territory and there's absolutely nothing to be worry about.

Having said that... Stop using porn and testing your erection. I really mean it. It only slows your rebooting and makes you more anxious. However tempting that might feel, just don't do it. Take a cold shower instead. Or go for a walk. Do some push ups. Do something physical to distract your thoughts from sex.

Life is so much more than sex. Learn to enjoy your life and try to become better version of yourself every day.

  5. Yeah, I agree with @Mike Bonanno that this could be flatlining. I know when I've been in that state, I've had no appetite for sex or fapping. When I've relapsed, I've immediately gone in the complete opposite direction almost immediately. Sounds normal to me.

I just don't think it could still be a flatline when I see my gf every single day and even broke my nofap streak (periodically decided to fap but still no hard erections). Idk how I'm not feeling that drive. It's weird because I definitely want to have sex but I'm not getting that chemical rush/erections. I guess all there is to do now is to not masturbate at all, only try sexual contact with my gf, and go to the urologist.

  7. Yuup!
You're in flatline. I suggest you abstain from anything sexual at least 30 days and then try to have sex with your woman, and I believe you'll start to notice some improvements.

It's normal, it can take a while for it to return.

Thanks gents. I guess eventually it'll hopefully just return. However, I've heard that people in flatline will still get hard to porn and I didn't, even when I wanted to. My longest streak was 78 days of nothing (even when I was with my gf... I would pleasure her in other ways but that was it) I figured I would see improvements by then but not really. I may as well just tell the doctor everything I've posted about here/ get tests done etc and then see how it goes. Thanks for the advice!

I’m 29 days in no PMO and am in exact same boat as you dude.
No urges/no sexual desire but as the other guys have said I believe it will come back! Just a matter of time!
I am 100% flatlining but that’s ok, I know it’s part of the process. Just keep going dude, good luck!

Hey dude! I could up until before Christmas, like I could get it up but would only be like 60%-70% hard and my orgasms were so poor, didn't feel good at all. I think I've been suffering from Death grip because my penis felt so desensitized!

  14. If you're really concerned, that's never a bad idea - just in case you have something else going on. If you doc is on top of things, he should understand the issues associated with the addiction.

I guess are bodies are just weirder than we think. You'd think that someone who jacked off multiple times a day would go absolutely nuts in wanting to fap if they withdrew from doing it. Yet many of us have no desire to whatsoever. Weird. But understanding this does ease the mind when it happens.

Even when I do fap now I need to stimulate myself to get it up a little. I can never actually get fully hard. The thing is, I don't think it's PIED. I was never addicted to porn. I used to masturbate frequently but not incredibly often to porn. I could go a long time without porn if I wanted without desiring it. That's why I don't think it's PIED but another issue

  16. I was addicted to porn for 35 years. More specifically, PMO, as I didn't really need porn to get off, but I typically used it. Today, I have removed porn from my life, but can PMO to stuff in my head or that I might see on tv.

I have PIED. In the past few sessions of attempted sex, my dick is between nothing, and a moderate hard-on that doesn't last. I STOP if I am not 100% concentrating on my wife. If I fantasize in my head, no problem getting hard. But I no longer do that with her in the bed. It's not fair to either of us.

When I have edged (which I did a couple of days ago), it was very 'tame' if you will. I didn't get hard for a while and then it wasn't anything to write home about. Hopefully that means I'm losing a taste for the fake stuff.
