First Post Here - Just Ready To Be Done With This

    New here and looking for some help getting porn out of my life for good. I am a 31 year old male, married with one young kid. Been watching porn for almost half my life. Really sad to type that.

    I have always known porn was a bit of a problem but 10 years ago every professional in the world was talking about how harmless it was. I figured all guys just watch porn and it is normal.

    I recently was unable to have sex with my hot and very willing wife only to find my self effortlessly jerking off in the bathroom a couple hours later with phone in hand. What have I done to myself? So sad.

    Anyway I'm looking for any help I can get and to let everyone know that I will be putting this behind me.

    Welcome to the community of NoFapsters! If you are serious about stopping you have come to a very good place.

    Get involved, read read read journals, guides. get yourself immersed in the community. this i have found to be very important. Connect with other users, chat with them and generally feel at home here. This is your lifeline. Virtual buddies and, if you want, accountability partners. It's all anonymous, safe and proven (if the testimony of hundreds before us can be relied upon).

    You have much work to do, but don't despair, you will enjoy it. The reward is priceless.
    Hope to see you soon on the journals and challenges.

    I have started out yesterday, first day was a breeze (no urges)but since the past 3 hours (nighttime) intermittent urges have plagued me, nonetheless, I shall continue!

    Hey @ThePeaceful_warrior ,

    Welcome to NoFap. Reading other peoples journals is a big part of my program and one of the ways I "work it".

    I just read the greatest journal entry. I don't offer opinions or advice, only ESH (Experience, Strength and Hope).

    I wish I could write the way he does. To me it felt like he opened up his chest and let us see not only into his heart but deeper into his soul. It takes a few minutes to read the first two posts - but, I'm so glad that I did.
