Is prostatitis a STD or Contagious disease?

    Prostatitis has been said to be not a STD. However I searched more information on it, following sounds to be reasonable, which is written by Dr.Lee who have ever created Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill as chronic prostatitis cure.

    Unlike an acute prostate infection, the only symptoms of chronic infectious prostatitis may be recurring infectious cystitis. These bacteria cannot be easily transmitted during sex. However, when the prostatitis is infected by mycoplasma or chlamydia, it may act as a STD that can be transmitted through vaginal, anal, or oral sex.

    Well it is possible for the prostatitis to be STD since it is infectious it can be transmitted during sex just like any bacteria, as the fluid of the semen is infected with bacteria. And ofc it depends on the bacteria and many other factors if the other person have weak immune system it will be more likely for her to have inection.
