I feel really lucky, I accidentally came across the subreddit whilst browsing r/all, I checked it out and the concept intrigued me, however at the time I wrongly believed I had no addiction. But around 2 weeks ago I finally came to the realization that I need to do something about my addiction, I was masturbating more than 3 times a day, taking me away from family and friends leaving me with little energy and feeling shit about myself afterwards, so I went back to nofap, but didn't have the courage to stop, so I subscribed to the subreddit and for the next 2 weeks when browsing my home page on my porn account I would see nofap posts which chipped away at me and convinced me I had to do this, I took the plunge 2 days ago, unsubscribing from all the porn subreddits, deleting all the saved images and videos on my phone and deleting the incognito app from my phone. And I can't wait to beat an addiction that if I'm being realistic has crippled me for more than 3 years

  2. Hey LuckyCarrot,
    Welcome to the NoFap community!
If you haven't already, check out this information on rebooting. It helps explain a few terms (look at the glossary also), and gives you an idea of what to expect.
I see you jumped right in to the 90 day challenge. While that is what NoFap suggests, I personally recommend you do smaller challenges along the way. 90 days can seem really unobtainable, but something like the 7 day challenge is a lot more doable.
Feel free to message me or anyone else here if you have questions or want to talk.
    Again, Welcome!

  4. One of the ways I got involved with the fellowship was by reading some really great journals.

I've included journals from all age groups, spiritual members, religious members, secular members, male and female. You should find journals that help. If not, look around, there are hundreds of others from which to choose. When I say "it works if you work it", reading journals is part of that work.

Once you open a journal, click "Watch Thread" in the upper right of the page to get alerts when new posts are made. Here are just a few:

There are many more, and you can discover them on your own. But, these are great places to start.

This is a work in progress. So, if a journal has changed or is no longer active, look around there are some amazing journals on here.
