Daily Intention Thread : "Today, I am... + POSITIVE AFFIRMATION"

Today i will not use porn because my future and dignity is to important to be wasted on that crap

 

Today I have gone to the gym for the first time in 20 years, when I was a teenager, trying to better my lifestyle, will not use porn on this day!

...because my conscience hurts thinking that I derived pleasure from the abuse and manipulation suffered by those women.

 

Today no porn, because I dont want to be at the other end of the funnel and be flooded with bad feelings and guilt

 

Today I will not use porn because it is thanksgiving and I want to see my family without a guilty conscience.

Today i will not PMO because I’ve got so much to be thankful for (renewed self confidence, guilt free living, great healthy friendships, amazing family, a place like this full of supportive people and a loving spouse) and porn has provided none of that!

Today I will not look at porn because I am at day 8...which means I am a week down again and have not reached that plateau in a minute...buuuutttt urges have finally returned. Which means I'm bout to finally find a way to take these urges down.

Today I will not use porn because it gets you out of touch with your friends, and keeps you away from the relationships you need. Porn makes you believe it better than people, but we know that's not true.

 

Today I will not use porn because it prevents me from focusing on the good aspects of life that I should really focus and enjoy.

 

Today I will not use porn because I owe it to my family to be a better person.

 

Today I will not use porn because I am carving a new identity, slowly but surely, that I am proud of and is centred on the principles I know to be true and right. I don't want to set myself back on this journey. I know that not using porn will make me feel low and depressed in the short term as I deal with difficult issues and emotions. But I also know that by persisting, and rebooting completely, I will be 100x more content, at peace and just happier. This is why I will not use porn.
