  1. Hey there Everyone,

    I just signed up for NoFap... for the second time. My previous attempt was roughly two years ago. Needless to say, I fell off the wagon and lost the plot completely. I have made numerous efforts since then to quit porn but it has been a rollercoaster ride, to say the least. I realised again that I cannot do this alone. I need support, accountability, to keep myself updated and educated, and to hear other people's stories about their struggles and recovery. I am determined to succeed this time.

    I wish everyone success and happiness. Here's to living in the moment!

    @HeyBud! Welcome back.

    We’re here for you. I highly recommend starting a journal, and sharing more with us. It’s a huge motivator to succeeding. I tried without this website for several months and only really started succeeding after posting here regularly.

    What brought you here/why are you doing this?

  3. Thank you giggleshmack, I definitely intend to keep a journal on here. Did you ask that question as a general guideline for my journal entries or do you want me to respond in this thread?

    Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

    The enemy is here to steal, kill and destroy. What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

    Welcome back to the Nofap-community. Of course the doors are always open. We all have the same longing: true happiness.

    I like to choose my own strategy. For some people a 90-days- challenge may be the right thing, I prefer short-time goals like 5 or 7 days with NO PMO and to prolong them if I feel like.

    There are users in this community who are highly addicted to P and others who are not. There are users who are married and who have children and there are a lot of singles. We all have our individual situation, we may be 14 and we may be 70 years old. Some are experienced fapstronauts, most are newcomers. This makes it a place for me to get a lot of inspiration and motivation, also a place to encourage those who are asking for help. Thanks to all who have motivated me in the past.

  8. Thank you D.J. I am still figuring out my strategies but I started by quitting and deleting all social media. I have asked my spouse to be my accountability partner, and I am currently doing some research about porn blockers.

  9. Thank you Yanis, that means a lot. I am still figuring out my own strategy but I am aiming for 3 month no PMO.

    It was okay. Not triggered but somewhat empty inside... holidays approaching and my mom passed away last year and my father the year before.

    I will get through it.

  15. Wow man, that is a lot to deal with emotionally. I am so sorry for your loss. The holidays can be a tough time of the year. Just remember you are always just a message away from your brothers here on NoFap. Don’t be shy to reach out if you feel low or just need to chat. I am a good listener.
