Circumcised men have it easy when it comes to following NoFap routine is advice that I have got men who aren't, which however contradicts my personal experience (as a circumcised male) I am having a hard time keeping up with NoFap. I am not sure if the men who aren't circumcised have a harder time for I have no means of making any such comparison. They claim that it's more difficult for them since even an accidental brush against their foreskin can trigger strong reactions which circumcised men aren't able to sense. I think that they are being unfair when they feel that is a cakewalk for me and not for them. I wonder what others have to say and do their experiences align with such a judgement as the one above?
Never saw a post about circumcision. Makes sense, but no idea if it is. I am circumsized and also have no comparison.
I'm uncircumcised and I don't feel the strong reactions when I accidentally brush my foreskin, although this could just be me, because everybody has different sensitivity, but I think it's a bit unfair to make generalised claims like that. Everyone does it tough when rebooting, I don't think it's our place to compare!
Studies confirm that circumcision leads to a big loss of sensitivity (see 'Attachments'): http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/03/prweb512999.htm This would imply that circumcised men have it easier in this regard indeed.
I disagree. Not because of the survey that talks about sensitivity, but because PMO addiction has nothing to do with your penis. PMO addiction is a psychological problem and triggers are first and foremost a non-physical thing. In my opinion, any one who blames the sensitivity of their foreskin as a reason they relapse needs to consider that they may be using that as an excuse not to commit to total abstinence and may well be allowing their addiction to dictate lies that defeat their resolve to recover. And anyone who says "other" people have got it easy isn't appreciating that none of us have got it easy. Ever. My advice, dguy, is to ignore people who try to make comparisons or treat this as a competition. NoFap is a very personal mission. The paths we all take are completely different, but we all aim to end up in the same place. Good luck!
