I'm Alex, 28 year old male and I have been addicted to porn since I was 11 years old.
During my teenage years I watched porn daily and fapped multiple times a day.
I have now been in a relationship for a bit more then 4 years. The frequency of watching porn depended on my girlfriend. If she would go out with friends and stay the night, or be home really late I would fap.
I tricked myself into believing it was no big deal. But she found out a few days a go and we broke up. It made me take a hard look at myself and I realized that it was a problem. I sufferd from low libido (for acutal sex) becouse of it, I had been lying to here when it came to questions about me watching porn.

So this is where the healing start. I want to tackle it with full power. I'm setting up a meeting with a therapist and also with SA (sex and porn addcits anonymous) and I'm here on nofap (also on reddit). While i'm going to be learning so much about addiction, I thought it would be a good idea to also stop smoking tobacco (daily smoker) and weed (weekend smoker). Also stop wasting so much time on sites like 9gag, facebook, kongregate,... and finally also stop my maladaptive daydreaming.

So I consider this day 1 of nofap. I hope to end the other addictions soon to.

Damn man sounds like a tough situation. Welcome to Nofap, I am sure you can do this, despite it being hard as fuck. One question: Why exactly did your gf break up? I always find it strange that guys watching porn is making some girls so angry, I mean after all like 99% of all guys watch porn once in a while.
