I'm new to this website and I'm not going to make this long, but I have a problem. I know women are fucking hot as fuck in my mind and I always think about having sex with them, but I feel nothing. Even if their naked infront of me or see a naked picture I would be like wow cool...tits. I wouldn't get excited or anything. It's like I'm not even attracted to the female body anymore even though I know I am! Is this what porn addiction does to you? It makes me feel like shit.

  2. Welcome to the forum Bro!
And yes. That's exactly what porn does to you. But the great news is that it's not permanent and you can reverse that effect by staying off from porn and masturbation for awhile.

  3. do u masturbate? I have same problem as you.

Yeah, I masturbate 3 to 4 times a day. I've been trying to stop for a long time, but I always find myself coming back to porn after 3 days @yukon

  5. maybe after three days, just masturbate with porn, try that for a weeks, it is working for me, I used to look at porn every day, its to hard to stop both masturbation and porn, so figure out what works for you, it takes a while. masturbate every day if you want, just don't look at porn, then slowly get of the masturbation.

When you watched porn do you watch all types of genres or did you only watch one and move on to the next one after you got bored. I find myself watching all types of genres except
    gay and transgendered person.
    I watched
    gay/transgendered person
and quit right away because I'm not gay/bisexual and I felt disgusting after getting off to it. I found myself spending almost an hour or even more time scrolling through genres trying to find the perfect video. Does this indicate I really have a bad porn addiction? @yukon

  9. I generaly watched one and moved on to the next, I watched light porn, nothing to bad. I did get into lookin gat gay photos, even tough in real life I am not gay at all, porn has strange effects. an hour of watching porn is normal I think for p users. maybe if you did it 3-4 times a day, that would not be good.

  10. maybe just look at porn one time a day, and still masturbate about 3 -4 times a day, focus on limiting porn for now, but not masturbation, it is really hard trying to stop both at once. it's a process, going in the right direction, is the most important thing.

Scrolling through the comments, I see you masturbate a lot....Well, that's the exact case for me. Watching porn gave me pleasure for some moments....But it had a strange effect, I suddenly started getting into gay and
    cuckold
videos and I really don't know why I had erections from them but in real life, I don't get any erections thinking about gay stuff and yes, I feel disgusted. But that's what porn does to you. I'm new to this site too so I won't be able to tell you too much but all I can say is that you can reduce watching porn and masturbating. Like, don't quit it all at once but do it gradually. Like, its October now so start with masturbating every 3 days, in November increase the gap to 5 days and try not to watch porn alongside.
    See if it helps.

Pay particular attention to the part that says you should not refer to site or specific categories of porn. It is triggering to other forum members.

I would suggest that everyone goes and has a good look at yourbrainonporn.com before even posting on here. If you did you would realise that the type of porn you are viewing is largely inconsequential and is purely symptomatic of the addiction.

Come on, don't be lazy and expect everyone to hand the answers to you. Go there and read up properly if you are serious about overcoming porn addiction.

I am new to this site and don't know much about these forums but I don't understand how will I explain what I want help for if I don't mention the category?
I am completely with you that it triggers other forum members and I don't mean to disrespect you or your opinion in any way but how do I post a thread or reply then?

If you do want to go into specifics you could perhaps change the text colour to white and add a trigger warning, example below:

I can't stop looking at <Trigger - highlight to read> CUTE CUDDLY ANIMALS <trigger> on youtube what should I do!?

On the old forum I used to post on there was built in functionality to do this kind of thing where you just highlighted the text and it was on the ribbon at the top.

Hi Jen, is there a way for forum posters to add these themselves?

  20. Yes, surrounding the triggering material with [ spoiler] and [/ spoiler] with no spaces will mask the content with tags.
