Okay okay, I'm sure this has been posted about several times and I know that many people will say that it's my own personal decision, but I wanted to get some opinions on whether resetting would be appropriate or not. I don't know if you all have seen the newest music video of (Warning: triggering material) [NSFW]Nicki Minaj, "Anaconda".[/NSFW] (You can look at that if you won't be tempted to go look at the video right now...) But there is a lot of dirty, nasty stuff on that video (twerking, even a lap dance at the end, but not nude). No nudity, just super dirty closeups on girls' rear ends. I read an article saying it was a really trashy video that should not have been made, and so I looked it up because I wanted to...I watched the whole thing. I really regret it, but I didn't see any nudity and I did not touch myself at all. My pleasure seeking stopped there and I didn't look up anything else. I went back to reading more enlightening material.

Thoughts? What would you do in this situation?

It's up to you man, because this is your challenge, and the only you know the results you want and how to get them.

Personally, because you didn't touch yourself, and as long as you don't do it again, I wouldn't reset.

True, it is my own challenge. I guess my challenge was not to do what I normally do, which would be to look at pornography, or to fap to any degree. It wasn't really porn.

Thank you for your opinion! I needed to hear what someone else had to say.

In my opinion - it's not considered P, however it is still destructive, and overall the goal is to change the way you view women and the world. This would not be helping.

It's almost like a gateway drug. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but it can easily throw you into a relapse. It's your choice, just be careful. You've come so far!

I started playing around with watching provocative music videos on my last go around, mostly because I enjoyed them and it gave me the mental stimulation I was looking for. A few days later, I ended up MOing and then PMOing.

The whole point of this isn't to see how close you can get to the edge without falling off, so to speak. For me, I have to stay away from that stuff since it only pulls in one direction, which is the opposite of where I'm trying to go. It's kind of like mental edging.

That's what got me the last time. I watched a provocative music video once, thinking "Nothing wrong with just watching.." and started watching it again and again.. until I eventually PMO'd. The dangerous thing with music videos is that they have a song to go with them, so any time you hear that song, you think of those images. I wouldn't reset, just be very careful now, as you know! Myself, I installed a filter (K9) and blocked Youtube and any open media sites. I'm not really in the position to give someone else a password for it, so I just made my password "choosehappylife" (max characters). It helps to have to type that out, because I know what it means and I know to stay aware.

highsocks that was no porn right and you did not masturbate? so why should you reset?

there are so many sexscenes in movies - if you would reset after every sexscene you would have a problem.

if it triggers you to go further and watch porn then you should stop watching stuff like that.

edit: watched that anaconda video. indeed it is very sexy but it is not porn. do you know the movie striptease with demi moore? yes - she is very hot in that movie but that is not porn. there is a line between porn and sexy stuff. if you can not handle this kind of stuff - so like i said - dont watch it.

Hey thanks for your opinions, everyone! That's exactly what I needed to hear. I'll keep the effort up, then. It definitely will NOT happen again - I don't want to be dipping my feet in the water like that.

    Counter, rolling on..
