The 16 Days Challenge (done in hard mode).

    I have just relapsed, so I decided to set up some plausible challenges. At the moment, I can't make it to 14 days, and every time I do so, I end up relapsing. My maximum is 14 days, so it would be a great accomplishment to break this damn cycle. This time, I'll do it. I'll come everyday here to check in. I'll win this time regardless of hard damn urges. I've discovered that my main problem is that I just can only resist for one day when I get an urge. I should break the cycle of urge → relapse. I won't of course overcome this addiction completely this time, but rather I'll overcome it gradually. This time, I'll overcome it partially.

    If you are willing to join this challenge, then you should consider the following:

    -Choosing a daily habit and a hobby.
    -Putting a plan for urges, especially the hard one.
    -Choosing a motivational quote to read everyday.
    -Watching a motivational video everyday.
    -Checking in everyday.


    My motivating quotes are
    -"Don't give up. It's not worth it."
    -"Remember your dreams"
    -"Remember how you feel after a relapse."
    -"Remember that God is watching you"

    -The devil whispers,
    "You can't withstand the storm"
    The Warrior replies,
    "I'm the storm."

    My plan for urges is the following:
    -Watch a motivational video
    -Read a book
    -Visit nofap

    Mate I am not an expert but it seems you take so much pressure on yourself.

    I also think your motivation quote don't give up is wrong since it is negative. Change it for positive one, eg. stay strong and be proud.

    I think Don't count your days, it haven't helped you so far as you see. It is not your strategy. You might reach day 13 and relapse... Take it easy with counting days, its risky.... Make it your lifestyle you are proud of rather than a challenge with counting days.

    God is not watching you to judge you, trust me mate. Porn devil is trying to bring you back. God has so many other issues than watching you fap, god is on your side whatever you do, trust me. So universe is.

    Make personal goals, goals that nofap bring you over time. Use your true feelings, what you really feel like to see yourself. See yourself in 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years as a best version of your self without PMO. Write it down in your phone and edit it so it looks better every day.

    This is off topic but it might help:
    Search for nofap pictures on google. Find your favourite picture and use it as background on the device you used to fap on. I personaly like nofap superheroes.

    It is just my opinion, as sometimes i feel like i can adress well, hope it helps you!!

    Not really. I need to count the days in order to know whether I'm breaking this cycle, or not. Thanks for your suggestions though. I'll try them.

    Okay, but WHY?
    WHY is something that most people forget. Unless you have a really strong reason for doing this, you will keep relapsing when urges are strong.
    So, I am just wondering why do you want to get rid of this addiction?
    Write as many reason as you can, they might help you!

    Sure. You know the best. It is only my point of view. I was the same. Now I don't even know how many days I am out of PMO. Maybe everybody just needs to go trough this and then realise that they do not need to count it anymore, it is just the way it is. But the goals and reasons WHY are the key, try to find them out first. Good luck mate!
