Hi. I actually joined because my husband started his first reboot ever 2 weeks ago. I never knew the harm excessive porn use could cause and never really had an issue with his use of it. But after his decision I did some reading and realized what a big deal this is. He is currently having a hard time with depression, anxiety, and ED. I joined your community to be able to get advice on how best to support him, and also to get some support for myself. It's tough when your partner can't get an erection for you, and It's extremely tough to see him struggle with mood swings and general sadness. Any advice is welcome on how I can best be there for him.
Hi. Welcome aboard. You likely already know this, but there are many other women on this forum who also have a spouse who is addicted. The Significant Others Support Group seems to be a good place to start. https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.p...e-sos-significant-others-support-group.69792/ Hopefully the nice folks there will give you a helping hand. Good luck!
Welcome Kahlan, we are glad you both are here. Is your husband's name Richard Rahl? Those are good books. Addiction hurts everyone in the family. It is too powerful for one person to fight alone. He is lucky to have someone willing to help him. NoFap realizes that both partners need help to heal. We hope this community can give you the information, advice, and support you need.
Haha he sure is. Those books were my lifeblood when I was in my early 20's. I have been getting a lot of great advice here thanks for the welcome!
