    Hello Fellas,

I have recently joined the community and I have the same goal as all of you, changing my life for the better by quitting PMO lifestyle. Right now I am in a relationship, which suffered a lot in the past from my PMO and PIED. Abstaining from porn and masturbation that I can do but I don't think I can tell my girlfriend that I need to abstain from sex for 3 or more months...

So is there any of you who continued to have regular sex in the rebooting process and still saw the benefits of quitting PMO? Or is having sex technically like relapsing?

Please share your experience about this with me. I need it badly. Thank you all.

I finished my dating for 1 month but when I was dating I only avoided the pornographic part and masturbation, I performed sexually only with her, I was holding on and I was always waiting for her.

I believed that I should fight only that part of "DISEASE" that would be pornography and masturbation and not the part of pleasure that I could offer her and her to me, after all there were real feelings and it was not just for pleasure!

Belief is one thing but evidence through success stories is important

Mate, the whole point of this process (imo) is to have sexual relationships with real people, and not your hand and pixels on a computer screen.. Cheers hey.

Doing sex is NATURAL for your body. Porn or Fap - No.

We are designed to have sex, not to fap. I agree with Kindabi. The point of this is to heal our body so we can have healthy sex lives with women.

To me, the only potential downside is the chaser effect. I have noticed that on the day after sex, I have a stronger desire to PMO. For that reason, I have considered Karrezza, or sex without orgasm, though haven't actually gone through with it.

But really, if you're in a relationship, I'd say have as much sex as possible.

Going through the same thing except I can only see my GF on weekends due to her living an hour and it's unbelievable difficult but manageable.

You can do it, bro! It's worth it. Your girlfriend is worth waiting for an entire week. :)

Sex has always helped me recover way faster. And like Kindabi said, having a real sexual relationship over a relationship with porn is kind of the whole point of this.

Of course I had to get through the ED stages first, which is always embarrassing. But you need to rewire your brain to having real encounters. Just know that its going to take a little while to get through this.

Don't get depressed after every failed attempt with your GF. Use this downtime to make it about getting her off. Become an expert at pleasing her without your dick.

Being in a relationship is fantastic for recovery. Avoiding her for 3 months is not going to magically create a healthy relationship.
