This is how I got pulled into some very dark places. It's troubling how it happens gradually, overriding that part of your brain which should be raising red flags. Glad there is at least some effort out there to make the really bad stuff less accessible.
Yes to this last sentence! Yes! Whatever the motive, I really want to applaud Tumblr for doing this. And offer thanks, gratitude, profound appreciations. While I'm not going to unblock the platform yet (my K9 filter can block specific sites), I would one day like to. Some of the (appropriate) images people share - some of the ways people put these images together - are stunning and delightful! Life affirming! Yes!
