Haha definitely yeah, that's what I thought when I searched for Shakira's Whenever Wherever song, and that's why I posted the lyrics video, not the official one... That Beastie Boys song is a nice one to start the day, love it ! Since I'm french I heared about Sexion d'Assaut on TV but never heared their songs, I'll give it a try. EDIT : added some of your songs to the original post ! I'll do this everytime someone posts a new song as well
so you will understand the lyrics. i cant understand anything. they make powerful music. i would say no shakira and no beyonce videos - they are forbidden!
ok - you asked for it! - jennifer lopez, nicole scherzinger and rihanna also forbidden! better we say no female-singer videos and no snoop dogg videos with hot girls. (healthier music for fapfreaks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ock73QRJBto)
the hardrock/metal section is my preferred section (deep inside me there is a little rocker i guess). like the video of the jurassic5 song - very good. rammstein is my music for running. must visit a rammstein-concert they have an insane stage show.
Heavy Metal you say? I'm in! Anything by Five Finger Death Punch. Example: Stranger Than Fiction Anything by Disturbed. Example: Down With The Sickness And of course, the best for last

Added some of your songs guys ! Better to browse YouTube a bit and get lost in the suggestions + finding great songs than PMO, definitely
boys found this comment under the disturbed song (down with the sickness): "This song makes me want to eat land mines, slap a lion with my dick, and play Russian Roulette with all 6 bullets." great comment - i agree totally.
I'm currently listening to Cat Stevens - "Tea for The Tillerman" on vinyl, and honestly believe this is one of the best, most heart-warming and mellow "feel good" albums of all time.

For those who like rock music, Buffalo Springfield and Creedence Clearwater Revival ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIoKr9VDg3A http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BmEGm-mraE I'll update the first post with your songs later guys
I generally find that listening to music is the best thing I can do to forget PMO. I turn on a bit of music and I'm immediately drawn in to something far more important and pleasureable than PMO. This is probably because music releases dopamine too, so you're getting your fix, just from a far more appropriate and meaningful medium. For me, I find laidback underground psychedelia and kosmische musik from the late 60s and early 70s is particularly effective. My mind just floats away. *Spins some Ash Ra Tempel*
Hey Erboinq, hope you'll find songs you like here ! Check the "songs to relax" part, there's probably something you'll like. I'm fond of Tycho, Boards Of Canada and all this ambient stuff when in comes to relaxing. This and classic music !
I also second that 100 %. BTW, when interviewed David Draiman (Disturbed's vocalist) always says the purpose of their music is to make people feel strong and help to accomplish the listener's objective. That's what I really like about them. And in my opinion you can hear this in every song, too bad they're on a hiatus right now. In the mean time I recommend to check out two side projects by some Disturbed members: David Draiman's side project Device, song: Vilify Dan Donegan's and Mike Wengren's side project Fight or Flight, song: First of the Last EDIT: I changed the link for the Device song from Youtube to Soundcloud, as the video is slightly triggering. Tip for anybody who wants to link to a video on Youtube that could be a trigger: keep Soundcloud in mind ;-)
