I find having any kind of relationship trouble with my wife is one of my greatest triggers/stresses. How do you deal with this kind of stress when it occurs right in your own home?
We start to disconnect and one of us will initiate a conversation where we only say what we are feeling and why and what we need....sort of a FANOS intervention. If you are both serious about recovery and connecting, its hard to ignore and not validate what your partner is feeling and it seems to de escalate the stress at least for me so that I can listen and see better.
