I feel like golfing is a big part of me wanting to change my life around. As in you work on every aspect of the golf game. Short, long, putting and chipping all takes practice and time. Just like NoFap, no alcohol, no other bad habits. When I play good I want to get BETTER! Hit harder (gym) be focused ( meditation) and mainly just live a healthy lifestyle. It’s creating a BALANCE for me. It just takes time and the will to do it. Has anyone else felt like this?

Golf is fun but I am terrible at it. I may go golfing 3 or 4 times each summer and then I go to the driving range more often. I need to golf more.
I had to Wikipedia that one - I notice it started in Canada so you are probably rather good at it! lol
Haha yep who would've thought that Disc golf started and is quite popular in Canada. Usually everyone thinks all we know how to do is play hockey lol!
As @Fritz619 has said yes it's very fun to play. Like you said it's quite basic for the most part so you don't need to over think about every shot like in golf. It's more a good recreational sport to hangout outside on a nice warm day goofing around with friends and getting good exercise while playing. Although there are tournaments and leagues you can join for Disc golf. At least here you can.
Well that's fine by me - I'm in no position to quibble about what sport I play. With my indoor lifestyle, I need all the exercise I can get.
I play sometimes, but have a neck issue..I haven't played in a while..but it can be fun with the right company..sadly all my friends are now shitty company on the golf course..I always "beat" them and they are really sore losers.. Crazy/mini golf in the summer can be really fun with my girlfriend though

Yes! I used to play a lot as a teenager - I was down to a single-figure handicap. Golf is a superb replacement habit - it will take 5-6 hours out of your day (depending on travel), it gets you outside, and it's such an addictive game that you'll practicing it in your idle moments. I never thought about practicing meditation to improve my focus for golf - great tip.
I golf once about once a week. Been playing for a long time. Never really got very good at it tho. Maybe nofap will help my concentration. The TW meme and comment too funny, sad and true at the same time. I have to remember everyone has their own struggles.
