Modern TV is essentially pornhub

You can't watch 5 seconds of TV nowadays without there being some p-sub commercial like a pretty girl advertising some shampoo; or the movie trailers, I just saw a trailer and it showed a girls basically slutting-out partying.
I've decided to just not watch TV at all...

It's crazy isin't it? Companies will do anything to increase their sales.

 

Sex sells unfortunately, that is why we should just avoid television consumption or minimize to something we know doesn't have triggers.

 

I get what you mean. We live in a sexed-up world, not that I am mad or struggling. I am on Day 18 right now, and I can control myself.. if I found myself somewhere I feel I can't get out of (that's not an excuse, either. I will probably never find myself), I can always focus on something else that's more productive.

 

I have no problem with slutty girls in REAL LIFE/REAL WORLD. But on a TV / computer screen, it's porn which will give me PIED, making me unable to have sex...

Sexuality is sold everywhere, music, movies, sitcoms, and it's mostly through women; and there has not been a social outcry because you're in the position were women might get offended. I don't have kids, but I can't imagine the work it is today to try and steer kids in the right direction as far as them being over exposed to sexuality. In some twisted way, it's kind of like the masturbation/porn addiction many of us confront. There is so much sexuality out there, it's easy to get lost in it.

 

i dont have a cable subscription anymore. Its been q few years. The last era of respectable programs was early 2000. Now its all sex violence and narcissism. Once or twice a year hollywood comes out with something ok... Prettt much stay away from all mainstream media unless it is for gathering intelligence . We are visual emotional creatures and this crap will warp your mind..
