    Hi guys,

I have a few questions that's killing me for the past few days..I am on my day 38..currently going through the depression, flatline and anxeity period. Saw som amazing improvemens though in my journey so far. But what's killing me is that should I abstain from even watching TV shows where female celebrities appear in gorgeous outfits, or movies where some good looking actresses are present.. it's not that thet are stimulating my mind like pron does, but since I am a novice here.. the facT that these girls look beautiful on screen, it makes me anxious that ..

    1) can they be working as a cue and slowing down my recovery or making me relapse unintentionally?

I don't watch porn, avoid every kind of stimulating picture, no masturbation and/or orgasm for these whole 38 days. But, ...

    2) do I have to push myself harder and avoid television or movies in order to completely AVOID SEEING GORGEOUS GIRLS ON SCREEN?

I have a similar struggle with seeing good looking girls on the street. It's summer, and the skirts are short and the tops are low. You can't avoid it forever man.

But what you can do is choose not to objectify those girls. Realise that they are real people with problems, fears, family, ambitions of their own.

If I was you, I would ask yourself a question. Does the show treat these women like they are real people, regardless of whether they are gorgeous or not? Or does the show treat these people like objects to be looked at? If the show treats these people like objects, cut the show out of your life. You'll make your recover a lot easier.

Good luck to you my friend.

I suggest that you sit down with pen and paper and write down three lists:
    1. Make a list of behaviours that you consider wrong for you, meaning, things that you consider as relapse (e.g. Porn, ect)
    2. Make a list of things, even though, not considered relapse situations, are nevertheless dangerous and will trigger you and later lead to relapse.
    3. Make a list of things you consider healthy and that contribute to your recovery and reboot.

Avoid all of the things in lists 1 and 2 like a plague.

Concentrate on living your life by focusing on doing things that are on your third list.

True. However, when I did my first 90 days hard mode, I avoided it all. Completely. TV shows, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, all of it. Why? Because I wanted to give my brain time to rest. Time to calm down and get used to not being fired up every five minutes. I wanted some distance between me and all those hidden and open triggers, because I wanted to find that inner balance. What would I be like without all that? Just life, you know? And it did me a world of good.

Of course, it's your choice. But if you find your eyes glued to the screen, maybe it's time to take the next step.

  5. People over think this shit. Just don't PMO or actively seek out porn or content relating to fantasy. It is impossible to avoid anything sexual within a highly sexualised society!

It's different for everyone - I find that making a real effort to not sexualise anything except my girlfriend is the best way for me, and gives me strength. So I try not to look at girls in the street who wear revealing clothing etc. But if you're stronger than me, you have my respect.
