Janus

I have been happily married for 14 years to a wonderful woman. We have two beautiful children. Unfortunately I have been struggling with Porn and Masturbation addiction for as long as I can remember, before I ever realized that one could become addicted to it and that I suffered from this addiction. I came to realize just how much my habits have been affecting my life in so many negative ways. I want so much to be a better man for my wife and children and also to feel that I am a worthwhile person.

I chose the name Janus because he is the Roman god which represents beginnings and transitions. Gates, doors, passages and endings. He looks to the future as well as the past which is why he is depicted as having two faces.

I look to the past to remind myself of the kind of man I have been and to see my past mistakes. I look to the future in the hope that I will see the better person that I will become. I hope this is the beginning of my transition from the old, to the new and improved me.
