Really? Cool. Is the movie triggering at all? edit: @Lazarus Shuttlesworth beat me to it by a second!
Ironically all the NoFap related movies I know have triggers, especially the good ones lol For example.. Don Jon, American Beauty, thanks for sharing, shame
I've read the book but it was a long time ago. It's good, I keep meaning to re-read it one day. It was essentially describing a police state with constant surveillance on all of it's citizens and control over every aspect of their lives. If you think it's an anti-porn book you've kind of missed the point...
I read the book, too. Well, it's very dark and dystopian. I was into that kind of stuff (like, totally) but I'm not anymore. Regarding the sexual aspect: In this society, all sexuality is repressed, which is part of making people mindless tools full of hate. The protagonist meets a rebellious girl and they become very sexually active together. In that case, it is a part of breaking free from society's chains. What we're trying on NoFap is not to repress our sex drive, but to transmute it. We are not ignoring it, but trying to deal with it. It is true that there's a line between this and unhealthy suppression, but I think in our sexualized society, where porn is almost becoming acceptable, we are far from that line. In the world of 1984 though, fapping every now and then probably wouldn't hurt That just came to my mind:
In what sense is American Beauty a NoFap movie? Surely, millions have jerked off to that @Lazarus Shuttlesworth
I'm pretty sure as well the guy in it M's in the shower as part of his morning routine lol; definitely not a NoFap film! Superb film nevertheless
